Portland Center Stage's annual JAW New Play Festival returns July 22-24. JAW is PCS's week-long assembling of artists and audiences to create new plays.

Circle Jerk, the Pulitzer Prize Finalist opened Tuesday, June 14, at The Connelly Theatre. Special guests included Julia Fox, Jeremy O. Harris, Ayo Edibiri, Larry Owens and more. Hulu has renewed Life and Beth for a second season. The ensemble cast includes Amy Schumer, Michael Cera, Susannah Flood, Violet Young, Kevin Kane, Yamaneika Saunders, Laura Benanti, Larry Owens, Michael Rapaport, Rosebud Walker and LaVar Walker. The season one cast also included Jonathan Groff and David Byrne.

Kathy Griffin appeared on The View this morning to discuss her role in HBO's Search Party. Griffin, who recently overcame lung cancer, guest stars in the upcoming season. In the new season, Dory enters a very public business partnership with charismatic tech billionaire Tunnel Quinn (Jeff Goldblum) on the other side of her near-death experience.

 The 24 Hour Plays: Viral Monologues will return on Tuesday, October 26th, with an all new series of unforgettable performances. Thirteen actors have been paired with writers who have crafted unique pieces especially for them. From 6 PM until 10 PM, new monologues will be published every 15 minutes.

The acclaimed Broadway Sings concert series is making its long-awaited in-person return celebrating Lady Gaga’s epic 2020 album Chromatica. On September 27 at 8pm, a bombshell cast of stars will belt out completely new arrangements of the hits of the award-winning album, accompanied by a 14-piece orchestra at the beautiful Sony Hall.
