The Kimmel Center's commitment to Jazz continues as their Jazz Residency winners are announced! The five-person panel, representing some of the nation's most influential jazz practitioners and innovators -- including Kennedy Center Director of Jazz Programming Kevin Struthers, SF Jazz Center Artistic Producer Lilly Schwartz, Jazz at Lincoln Center Vice President of Education Todd Stoll -- culled through over 25 applicants and selected five early to mid-career Philadelphia jazz musicians to participate in this prestigious season-long journey.

The J?st Project looks forward to returning to the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the location where they launched their recording, 'Can't Find My Way Home' (Dot Time Records). As part of the Art After 5 series, the Philly-based band will perform today, May 9 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. The band is made up of internationally renowned vibraphonist Tony Miceli, vocalist/harmonicist Paul Jost, bassist Kevin MacConnell and drummer Charlie Patierno. This event is free with museum admission, $20; seniors $18; youth, 13 to 18, and students with valid ID $14; children 12 and under free.
