Prague Shakespeare Company Will Present New Version of Shakespeare's Richard III Performed In The Original English

Prague Shakespeare Company will present a new version of Shakespeare's Richard III performed in the original English. PSC Artistic Director Guy Roberts directs and stars as Richard, the man audiences have loved to hate for over four hundred years. Deformed in body and spirit, this depraved madman is obsessed with becoming King of England. Does he fall? Of course, but not before he has taken all of us on his wickedly entertaining ride.

Fresh off their triumphant Prague Castle performance, Prague Shakespeare Company and Narodni divadlo are proud to present a special one night only reprise performance of PSC's English-language production of Shakespeare's Richard III.

Tennessee Shakespeare Festival Actors Set for Reading of NO KIN TO ELIVS Tonight

Tennessee Shakespeare Festival actors, under the direction of Lane Davies, will perform a reading of No Kin to Elvis, a play adapted from the book of the same name. The story is set 1957 in the fictitous town of Marlburn, Georgia, a small community situated in the heart of a burgeoning carpet industry, still enjoying a postwar boom. Emmer Lee Prestely, a young woman transplanted from the mountains of North Carolina, must fight to save her humble home from the local mafia after her husband Elzo loses a bet on the '57 World Series to their book. Elzo goes missing in a boating accident after the Series, so Emmer is forced to join forces with her estranged bootlegging daddy Bus Prestley to stave off eviction from her home.

Hatfields and McCoys battle in TSF's COMEDY OF ERRORS, Closes 7/10

Shakespeare meets the Hatfields and the McCoys this summer in Tennessee Shakespeare Festival's family-friendly The Comedy of Errors, running June 17-July 10 in Bell Buckle on the campus of the Webb School. Tennessee Shakespeare Festival's latest production, The Comedy of Errors - described as 'a rollicking version of William Shakespeare's madcap tale of mistaken identity, set in the highlands of 1880s West Virginia.'
