NYU Tisch School of the Arts today announced it will honor notable alumnus, screenwriter, Emmy-winning producer and director Eddy Moretti ('98) at its 2018 gala. Moretti will join previously announced honorees Chris Columbus ('80) and Eleanor Columbus ('11) at the annual event, which will be held on Monday, April 16, 2018, at Capitale. 

After a sold out run last summer in The Tank's 'Pride Fest' T and L, and their magical flying Thunderbird/badass rock band are back for a one-night-only concert reading at the Tank on Monday February 19th at 7pm.

The Tank (Meghan Finn and Rosalind Grush, Artistic Directors) is pleased to a limited engagement of a new kids show, Layer the Walls. Tickets for the 42nd season of Spoleto Festival USA go on sale to the public today at 10:00am. Tickets can be purchased anytime at spoletousa.org or by phone at 843.579.3100, Monday through Saturday, 10:00am to 6:00pm. On-site box office operations will be located at the Charleston Gaillard Center beginning May 1; tickets may then be purchased in person Monday through Sunday, 9:00am to 5:00pm.

Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater will showcase their spectacular artistry, talent, diversity, and range for three performances March 2 4 at Chrysler Hall in Norfolk, Virginia, presented by the Virginia Arts Festival.

It's that time of year, and the National YoungArts Foundation is proud to introduce the 2018 dancers to watch. On Wednesday, January 10, 18 up-and-coming dancers and 3 choreographers performed at New World Center in Miami as part of National YoungArts Week. These extraordinarily talented artists have been named 2018 YoungArts Finalists one of the nation's most prestigious awards for 15 to 18 years old.

On Today, January 13, 2018, the National YoungArts Foundation (YoungArts) will honor Tarell Alvin McCraney - Academy Award-winning playwright, 1999 YoungArts Winner in Theater and YoungArts master teacher - with the 2018 Arison Alumni Award at the organization's annual Backyard Ball on the YoungArts Campus (2100 Biscayne Boulevard).

Following the show's development at The Orchard Project in 2017, LubDub Theatre presents The Doubtful Guest, an immersive contemporary s ance featuring cocktails and sleight-of-hand and exploring the legacy of American spiritualism. The piece premieres at The Public Hotel (215 Chrystie St., New York, NY) following sold-out developmental performances at The Inn at Saratoga and Guild Greene Gallery.
