The Father is a critically acclaimed play by French writer Florian Zeller, translated by Christopher Hampton. It has been staged internationally, and adapted into a successful film. The play premiered in London’s West End in October 2015 and opened on Broadway at Manhattan Theatre Club in March 2016. Along the way, it picked up major honors, including the Molière Award for Best Play, as well as Olivier and Tony Awards for Best Actor.

Town Players of New Canaan's upcoming live theatre production of Ordinary People is anything but ordinary. The play, based on the Oscar-winning movie starring Donald Sutherland, Mary Tyler Moore and Timothy Hutton, will open Feb. 17 and run through March 5 at the Powerhouse Theatre in Waveny Park.
Fairfield Center Stage, a local community theater group, will present an outdoor, socially-distanced ABBA-themed concert on the back lawn of The Scandinavian Club on Saturday, October 24th 2020 at 1:00 PM and 6:00 PM.

Few popular novels have been as powerful about a subject as Harper Lee's 1960 novel, To Kill A Mockingbird.
