MERMAN'S APPRENTICE, starring Klea Blackhurst, Anita Gillette, Fred Applegate, Elizabeth Teeter and more, will play Birdland tonight, January 18, 2016.

The Broadway at Birdland concert series was proud to present NY1 theater journalist Frank DiLella in the second episode of his new talk show, 'Show Biz After Hours With Frank DiLella.' The event was taped in front of a sold-out audience on Monday, January 11, with Frank's very special guest Jonathan Groff, who is currently starring on Broadway as King George in the smash hit HAMILTON. Frank had several guests on hand to surprise Groff, including friends Tituss Burgess, Alyse Alan Louis, Jenni Barber, and his 'Looking' co-star Russell Tovey. The Broadway at Birdland concert series was proud to present stage and screen star Erich Bergen ('Madam Secretary,' 'Jersey Boys'), who joined forces with American jazz pianist Angelo Di Loreto in concert on Sunday and Monday, December 27 and 28. Bergen, Di Loreto and bassist Ethan O'Reilly performed an intimate evening of songs from the Great American Songbook, as well as some classics of 20th Century pop music. The Broadway at Birdland concert series was proud to present Broadway's own Phantom, James Barbour, who performed his eighth sold-out holiday concert at Birdland on Sunday. Barbour hosted a musical extravaganza that included cast members from Phantom of the Opera, including Julia Udine, Jeremy Hays, Laird Mackintosh and Jeremy Stolle, with Brian Taylor on piano.
