Broadway's Future Songbook Series - presented by Arts and Artists of Tomorrow - continues its 2019-20 season on Monday, February 24th in the Bruno Walter Auditorium at the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts at Lincoln Center located at 111 Amsterdam Avenue and 65th Street. Produced, Directed and Hosted by John Znidarsic, the evening spotlights the songs of James B. Rubio. (Some lyrics by David Caudle and Katie Baldwin Eng will also be featured.) Show time is 6PM and ADMISSION IS FREE.

The Manhattan Association of Cabarets (MAC) has announced the 2019 MAC Award nominees. The nominees, in a majority of the categories, were determined by votes cast by the active MAC membership. Special committees selected the nominees in the Ensemble Instrumentalist, Piano Bar Instrumentalist, Piano Bar Singing Entertainer (Female; Male), Recording (LaMott Friedman), Major Recording, Song and Comedy/Novelty Song categories.

This newest show celebrates Gartman's love of language, culture and travel, and is under the direction of 10-time MAC Award-winner Lennie Watts. Musical direction is by Troy Fannin with Marcel Hamel on bass and Mike Shapiro on drums.
