Cara Mía Theatre announces its 2023-2024 season, “Bodies Made of Stories”, with five unique productions dedicated to celebrate and uplift diverse voices through transformative Latinx theatre. 

Actors Theatre welcomes back the award-winning ensemble UNIVERSES (Ameriville, Slanguage, Rhythmicity) for a kinetic mix of poetry, jazz, blues, hip-hop, boleros, salsa, and storytelling. Party People is a dynamic performance that illuminates the complex legacy of these revolutionary movements, and the potential for cross-cultural coalitions to bring power to the people. Performances are in the Pamela Brown Auditorium April 5-16, 2023.

Stage Directors and Choreographers Foundation (SDCF) have announced that director and multi-disciplinary artist Kendra Ware has been selected as the 2022 Lloyd Richards New Futures Resident Artist at Actors Theatre of Louisville in Louisville, KY, where she will work with Executive Artistic Director Robert Barry Fleming.

On Thursday, May 19, 2022, the day before the Drama League Awards, Drama League President Bonnie Comley and husband/Tony Winner Stewart F. Lane welcomed the 2022 Directing Fellows at The Players Club in New York City!

On Friday, May 20, 2022, one hour before the Drama League Awards, Board President Bonnie Comley, Kirk Iwanowski, Mary Jain, and the Board Hosted a VIP Reception at the Drama League Awards right next to the Ziegfeld Ballroom. While the Drama League Distinguished Performance nominees were lining up for the dais, a cocktail party was in full swing in the adjacent ballroom.

Into The Woods, Hercules, Miss You Like Hell), who will present the esteemed awards.
