ETT (English Touring Theatre) has announced their new production of Shakespeare’s Macbeth, and further programming for 2023.

Step into the world of handsome princes and evil fairies this October half-term when St Helens Theatre Royal presents the enchanting story of Sleeping Beauty.

Fresh from the West End production of Moulin Rouge The Musical, West End leading lady and singing sensation Zoe Birkett will play Spirit Of The Ring alongside EastEnders’ Beppe Di Marco, Michael Greco as Abanazar. Joining them is CBeebies favourite Ben Cajee in the title role of Aladdin, returning favourites Tam Ryan as Wishee Washee and Ian Adams as Widow Twankey, Duane Gooden as the Genie, Ian Billings as the Notary and introducing Wolverhampton’s own Sofie Anné as Princess Jasmine.

Liverpool's Epstein Theatre is gearing up for an exciting Summer season with plenty going on for all the family. The venue reopened in October 2021 under new management, and has since continued to make its mark upon returning to the Liverpool theatre scene. 

Regal Entertainments presents its first Epstein Theatre panto of 2022 with family favourite Jack And The Beanstalk, announcing a fabulous cast to lead to the show. 

This Easter Oldham Coliseum presents a musical adaptation of Rudyard Kipling's famous story The Jungle Book, a perfect treat for the whole family to enjoy.

Television actor and West End performer Ben Richards will lead the cast as Gaston. He is best known for his roles in Hollyoaks, Footballers Wives, Holby City and The Bill.  He will be joined on stage by Lauren McCrory as Belle; Kelly Sweeney as Fairy Rose; Lewis Devine as French Frank; Jamie Greer as Potty Polly; James Lacey as Madame Botox; and Benjamin Keith as the Beast. 

This evening Leicester Comedy Festival, the longest running comedy festival in Europe, presented Johnny Vegas with the Legend of Comedy award at their annual ceremony to honour comedians and others involved in the festival.

Tonight Leicester Comedy Festival hosted its annual award ceremony at The Haymarket Theatre (Leicester) honouring the comedians, venues and promoters that make the festival one of the largest and most successful in Europe. The ceremony was hosted by Mark Dolan and attended by Nicholas Parsons who collected the Legend of Comedy Award.  Previous legends have included Victoria Wood, Barry Cryer, Rik Mayall, Ken Dodd and Sir Norman Wisdom.
