The stream of Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS' benefit concert celebrating Disney on Broadway's 25th anniversary will be rescheduled for Friday, April 17, 2020.

Stars from Disney on Broadway shared a Zoom performance with Good Morning America on Thursday, April 9th, while Broadway remains dark. James Monroe Iglehart, Heather Headley, Ryan McCartan, Ciara Renee, Steven Taylor, Jelani Alladin, Mckenzie Kurtz, Adrienne Walker, and Michael James Scott performed an rendition of Alan Menken's 'Go the Distance'

Ryan McCartan appeared on Good Morning America today to talk about the upcoming stream of the Disney on Broadway's 25th Anniversary Concert, to benefit BC/EFA.

The one-night-only benefit 'Celebrating 25 Magical Years of Disney on Broadway' will be streamed to raise money for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS' COVID-19 Emergency Assistance Fund.

Disney has officially been making magic on Broadway for 25 years! As BroadwayWorld previously reported, Disney on Broadway is partnering with Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS to put on a special benefit to celebrate the momentous occasion. We're getting in on the celebration by looking back at Disney's show-stopping productions, from classics like Beauty and the Beast and Newsies to current favorites like Aladdin and Frozen. Check it all out!

For the last five years, the New Amsterdam Theatre has been all about magic lamps, carpet rides, princes, thieves and genies! That's because Disney's Aladdin, which opened in 2014, has played well over 2000 performances there. 

To celebrate the 5th anniversary of Aladdin on Broadway, five current and former Genies stopped the show following yesterday's matinee to perform a medley of Aladdin hits. The five Genies included Tony Award winner James Monroe Iglehart, current star Michael James Scott, tour Genie Major Attaway, and current Broadway Genie standbys Juwan Crawley and Deonte L. Warren.

To celebrate the 5th anniversary of Aladdin on Broadway, 5 current and former Genies stopped the show following today's matinee with a medley of Aladdin hits at the New Amsterdam Theatre. Aladdin, the hit Broadway musical, continues to reach a whole new world as it celebrates five years on Broadway today at the New Amsterdam Theatre!

On August 20, the casts of Broadway's Aladdin and Miss Saigon came together to swap songs, sing show tunes, and raise money for a friend in need. The show entitled Show/Swap was presented by Telly Leung and Billy Bustamante, and featured hits from Miss Saigon, Aladdin, Les Miserables, Little Shop of Horrors, The Little Mermaid, and more.

Eva Noblezada, Carol Angeli, Emily Bautista, Steel Burkhardt, Billy Bustamante, Graham Scott Flemming, Gaby Gamache, Dan Horn, Lina Lee, Dorcas Leung, Paul Miller, Robert ?P?endilla, Ariel Reid, Liana St. Ana, Kimmy Truong, Travis Ward-Osborne and Paige Williams have been added to the cast of the special evening SHOW/SWAP.

Telly Leung and Billy Bustamante will present a special evening SHOW/SWAP - featuring cast members from the casts of Miss Saigon and Aladdin on Broadway - on Sunday, August 20 at 8:00 PM.
