ANNIE, the new production of the Tony Award-winning musical, went into rehearsal today in New York City with its full company. The production begins previews October 3, 2012 and opens November 8, 2012 at the Palace Theatre (Broadway at 47th Street). Meet the full cast below!

Image Entertainment, Inc. has acquired the home entertainment rights to Company In Concert, Stephen Sondheim's iconic tour de force on contemporary relationships, with an all-star cast including Criag Bierko, Stephen Colbert, Jon Cryer, Katie Finneran, Neil Patrick Harris, Christina Hendricks, Aaron Lazar, Patti LuPone, Jill Paice, Martha Plimpton, Anika Noni Rose, Jennifer Laura Thompson, Jim Walton and Chryssie Whitehead. The announcement was made by Image Entertainment's Chief Acquisition Officer, Bill Bromiley.

On April 7, 2011, the New York Philharmonic presented Stephen Sondheim's groundbreaking Company with an all-star cast led by Neil Patrick Harris as Robert for four sold-out performances through April 9, 2011. Today, BroadwayWorld has confirmed with Price that a DVD of the broadcast will be released this fall by Image Entertainment at a date to-be-announced.

As BroadwayWorld previously reported, Diane Paulus' upcoming production of Pippin might be heading to Broadway after it plays Cambridge's American Repertory Theater in December. Now the New York Times is reporting that Broadway favorites Patina Miller, Terrence Mann, and Charlotte d'Amboise are in talks to star in the production as 'Leading Player,' 'King Charles,' and 'Fastrada' respectively. Additionally, Damon Daunno, who recenty starred in Broadway's Brief Encounter is in talks to play the leading role.
