Another sold out house was achieved for the company's annual 'Playwrights for a Cause' event, this year, benefiting the Ali Forney Center. The banner season culminates with the Planet Awards. Neo-Political Cowgirls To Host Second Annual Women's Advocacy Event In East Hampton

In keeping with their mission of raising visibility for women's issues, The Neo-Political Cowgirls (NPC) dance theatre company is proud to present their second annual Andromeda's Sisters event on Thursday, June 28th at East Hampton's Guild Hall. Inspired by the moment in NPC's production "ANDROMEDA" in which Poseidon's daughters swim to Andromeda's aid, Andromeda's Sisters celebrates women's capacity to support each other and change the world we occupy. This event will raise funds for The Neo-Political Cowgirls' theatrical and educational programming, while highlighting the work of women's causes and the words of female playwrights. A three-tiered evening of advocacy, associating, and arts, this event celebrates, connects, and articulates women's issues, voices, interests and livelihoods.

The Neo-Political Cowgirls are proud to announce the introduction of the Stacey Fuller Cohn Scholarship, named for her memory by her family. This very special opportunity is a full scholarship and will be gifted to a local deserving girl. It will be decided upon by NPC's board and local educators, and will be offered at each workshop- which occur up to five times a year.

The Amagansett Food Institute (AFI) & Kate Mueth and The Neo-Political Cowgirls' bring you HYSTERIA, a beautiful, immersive terror. Walk through the Amagansett Farmers Market's outdoor property to experience causes, cures and curses of the painful psychological state of HYSTERIA. Groups of ten audience members move through this guided journey approximately every 12 minutes to experience vignettes of 'hysteria.' Approximately 25 minutes in length, this immersive experience is not for the feint of heart and the most attentive audience members will receive a bonus room of fear if they pass their interrogation at the end of the journey.
