He might be on his way to Broadway, but come what may Aaron Tveit will make it across the country to entertain Las Vegas audiences. Tveit is scheduled to appear two nights only at the Smith Center this coming September.

As a result of a construction-related issue that was part of the renovation of the Emerson Colonial Theatre and unrelated to the production, the pre-Broadway engagement of Moulin Rouge! The Musical has set new engagement dates at the Boston venue.

The Musical, which begins rehearsals today for the Ambassador Theatre Group (ATG)'s Emerson Colonial Theatre engagement of just 36 performances from June 27, 2018 through August, 5, 2018. Reviving a great theatrical tradition, Boston's crown jewel reopens its doors this summer with the World Premiere engagement of the musical, based on the 2001 20th Century Fox Motion Picture by Baz Luhrmann.

Eugene O'Neill Theater Center 18th Monte Cristo Award Honors Lin-Manuel Miranda

The Eugene O'Neill Theater Center honored multi-discipline creative artist Lin-Manuel Miranda with the 18th Monte Cristo Award, last night at a private dinner at the Edison Ballroom in New York City. An alumnus of the O'Neill, Miranda's first professional production was at the O'Neill's National Music Theater Conference with In The Heights in 2005. The gala dinner featured a conversation with the honoree and raised $575,000 to support the Center's commitment to developing new work and new artists for the stage.

Jennifer Sanchez Debuts At The Green Room 42 With GIN & JAZZ

THE GREEN ROOM 42 - Broadway's newest intimate concert venue - will present the debut of Broadway's Jennifer Sanchez on Thursday, May 17 at 7:00 PM. "Gin and Jazz" is her evening of new jazz arrangements from shows she has performed in on Broadway, including new takes on music from West Side Story, Sunday in the Park with George, Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown, and a set of Jennifer's original music. The show also featuring Mike Hunter on violin and Marianna Ramirez on percussion.
