Theatre Royal Bath today announces four additional productions - Vienna 1934-Munich 1938, The Life I Lead, Trying It On and The Man in the White Suit, to complete its Summer Season 2019 programme and further casting with Katherine Parkinson, Janie Dee as well as Vanessa Redgrave, Miles Jupp and David Edgar among the stars set to take to the stage in both treasured classics and acclaimed new works.

Producers today announced that a stage adaptation by Sean Foley of the classic Ealing Studios comedy The Man in the White Suit, will play a three week season at Theatre Royal Bath, prior to receiving its world premiere at Wyndhams Theatre in preview from September 26th with an opening night of October 8th. The production will be directed by Sean Foley and will star Stephen Mangan as Sidney Stratton and Kara Tointon as Daphne Birnley. Set and costume design will be by Michael Taylor.

 The more you see it, the more it becomes one of your favorite things! Since making its Broadway debut in 1959, Rodgers and Hammerstein's perennial classic has been embraced by audiences around the globe.  Now, in celebration of its 60th anniversary, THE SOUND OF MUSIC LIVE, an ambitious, live-broadcast production from BAFTA-nominated director Coky Giedroyc, will be released on BroadwayHD on January 31.  

Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex tonight attended Cirque du Soleil's premiere of TOTEM at the Royal Albert Hall to raise vital funds and awareness for The Duke's charity, Sentebale which helps youth affected by HIV in southern Africa.

A major new production of Strangers on a Train is set to steam into theatres across the UK next year.

Adam Garcia, Bryony Hannah and Paul Higgins star in the premiere of the final play by Kevin Elyot, writer of the classic comedy My Night with Reg.

One of the true masterpieces of modern cinema, Federico Fellini's 1957 Oscar-winning film, LA STRADA (The Road), is being brought life on stage in a brand new adaptation directed by Olivier Award nominee Sally Cookson, with music composed by Benji Bower. The production received its world premiere at the Belgrade Theatre, Coventry, followed by a national tour. The show opened on 30 May in its London premiere at The Other Palace, the newest addition to Andrew Lloyd Webber's Really Useful Theatre Group, where it will run until 8 July 2017. TWILIGHT SONG, the final play by Kevin Elyot, writer of the classic comedy My Night with Reg, will receive its world premiere at Park Theatre from 12 July - 12 August, with a press night on 17 July.

Olivier Award-winning director, Robert Icke's (Mary Stuart, The Red Barn, Uncle Vanya, Oresteia, Mr Burns and 1984), ground-breaking and electrifying production of William Shakespeare's Hamlet, starring BAFTA award-winner Andrew Scott (Moriarty in BBC's Sherlock, Denial, Spectre, Design For Living and Cock) in the title role, will transfer to the Harold Pinter Theatre, following a critically acclaimed and sell out run at the Almeida Theatre.

Patrick Hamilton's Gaslight had its premiere in Richmond Theatre in 1938 and so it seems suitable for it to end its UK tour in the same setting. Set firmly in an era of Victorian melodrama; Bella Manningham is increasingly convinced that she is going mad. She loses jewelry and finds photo frames in the piano stool. Her husband Jack only seems to encourage this belief, systematically chipping away at her confidence and independence. One night, a mysterious visit from a detective reveals that the truth is very different. Bella is not going mad and her husband is certainly not who he claims to be.
