The Tony Award-winning Alley Theatre has announced the addition of five performances of Isaac Gómez’s world premiere What-A-Christmas! from December 26 – 30, 2022.

The award-winning SITI Company has announced the final details for the SITI Legacy Plan. SITI Company’s Board of Directors announced that longtime Executive Director, Michelle Preston, will be stepping down at the end of October after 10 years of leadership. Preston began her tenure at SITI as the Deputy Director in 2012 and was named SITI’s Executive Director in 2014 following the departure of Megan Wanlass.

Berkeley Repertory Theatre’s Artistic Director Johanna Pfaelzer and Director of the Ground Floor Madeleine Oldham announced the Residency Lab participants and the return to full capacity of the Residency Lab portion of The Ground Floor: Berkeley Rep’s Center for the Creation and Development of New Work.

California Shakespeare Theater’s (Cal Shakes) Board of Directors announced that Artistic Director Eric Ting will depart the Bay Area non-profit theater organization following the conclusion of the 2022 season. The award-winning SITI Company has announced additional details for its Finale 30th Anniversary Season. At the conclusion of the finale season in December 2022, SITI Company will cease to operate in its current iteration as a touring, teaching, performing ensemble with an administrative staff and a studio.

Milwaukee Chamber Theatre has announced their full 2022-23 season consisting of five full productions, the return of the celebrated Young Playwrights’ Festival Showcase, and readings of two new plays by Wisconsin playwrights in its Montgomery Davis Play Development series.   

The Tony Award-winning Alley Theatre and Artistic Director Rob Melrose has announced the 2022-23 season which includes six world premieres including three world premiere plays, two world premiere adaptations, and one world premiere musical. The 76th season also marks the return of the Summer Chills series, after a three-year hiatus due to COVID-19.

Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival announced today the 2022 summer season. The upcoming season will be the Festival's 31st summer of productions, and the final season led by Producing Artistic Director Patrick Mulcahy.

Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park continues its season with a second world premiere: NEED YOUR LOVE by writer-director KJ Sanchez.

MacDowell, the nation’s first artist residency program, awarded Fellowships to 139* artists from 25 U.S. states and seven countries. Plays by Zakiyyah Alexander (HOW TO RAISE A FREEMAN), Jose Rivera (SONNETS FOR AN OLD CENTURY) and Christina Anderson (GOOD GOODS) will be featured during the 2021-22 season.

Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park today announced the restart of its mainstage season for October 2021. The 2021-22 season will be comprised of eight shows and features world premieres by Keith Josef Adkins, Deborah Zoe Laufer and KJ Sanchez, who brings a spin-off story from her hit Cincinnati King to the Rosenthal Shelterhouse.
