Broadway Method Academy (BMA), in association with the Shubert Theatre of New Haven and Westport Country Playhouse, is proud to announce the nominees for the Stephen Sondheim Awards. The black-tie gala will take place on June 4 at 7:30 pm at the Shubert Theatre in New Haven, CT.  The program's mission is to recognize excellence in high school musical theater.

Broadway Method Academy's (BMA) production of the Tony winning Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice musical Evita, opened last night at the famed Westport Country Playhouse.

Directed by Connor Deane with choreography by Eric Santagata and music direction by J. Scott Handley, performances are scheduled for February 7 to 10, 2018. The cast will be headed by Alaina Mills as Eva Peron, Yurel Echezarreta as Che, Kyle Barisch as Juan Peron, and Julian Alvarez as Magaldi.

Broadway Method Academy (BMA), a non-profit musical theater-training program, will hold its third annual benefit gala, Broadway Sings, on Monday, November 27 at the prestigious Westport Country Playhouse.

The first images released from the set of Ralph Fiennes' THE WHITE CROW feature actor and dancer OLEG IVENKO, (soloist with M. Jalil Tatar State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre) which is filming in Paris and at the Russian State Hermitage Museum in St Petersburg.

The summer fun continues this Wednesday night with Stephen Wallem, Lauren Molina, and more -- and it keeps getting funnier with Molly Ranson & Bernard Dotson (Aug 16), Brenda Braxton & Molly Pope (Aug 23), Billy Stritch & Stephanie D'Abruzzo (Aug 30), and dozens other fun folks, as the weekly series continues.

This summer, the fun happens on Wednesday nights -- and it just got funnier with Amy Spanger (July 19) and Molly Ranson (August 16) joining the line-up!

Broadway Method Academy, a musical theater program that recently opened a new studio in downtown Fairfield, presented the classic American musical, The Music Man. The non-profit organization's mission is connecting the stars of today with the stars of tomorrow, and this production welcomed to the company Broadway actors Grady Long (The Audience, starring Helen Mirren) and Stephanie Jae Park (The King and I, Cinderella, War Paint). The Music Man played Fairfield University's Quick Center for the Arts October 8-9.
