Producer Rick Murray will present two-time Tony Award winner Brian Stokes Mitchell in his Provincetown debut, Sunday August 6 for two performances only, 7:00 and 9:00 p.m. in the Paramount Theatre at The Crown & Anchor. Mr. Mitchell will be accompanied by acclaimed music director and conductor Mark Hummel.

Due to overwhelming demand, Producer Rick Murray has added a second evening of conversation with award-winning actress Sally Field to the star-studded lineup of the 2017 Cabaret Series.

Audience members at today's production of ROMEO AND JULIET at the Stratford Festival were in for a real treat...And some of them had no idea!  There was a delightful murmur of excitement from the crowd when Artistic Director (and 1992 Romeo) Antoni Cimolino came onstage to announce that in celebration of the Festival's 65th season, a group of former Romeos and Juliets were in attendance!

Just announced, Tony Award winner Karen Ziemba will join Manhattan Theatre Club's upcoming Broadway premiere of Prince of Broadway, a musical celebration that highlights the extraordinary six-decade career of director and producer Harold Prince.

Tony-winner Betty Buckley is spending her week in the Mile High City. Following a five-day song interpretation and monologue workshop, Buckley will be performing a concert at the Lone Tree Arts Center on Saturday, June 10.  

Perry-Mansfield has announced the full lineup for their 2017 New Works Festival. The 20th Annual festival, held on June 16 and 17 in Steamboat Springs, CO will develop five new works in partnership with the South Coast Repertory, Primary Stages, Curious Theatre Company, Seattle Repertory Theatre and Tectonic Theater Project.

Just announced, Manhattan Theatre Club will produce the world premiere of The Portuguese Kid, a new play written and directed by Tony, Pulitzer Prize, and Academy Award winner John Patrick Shanley, presented as part of MTC's upcoming 2017-2018 season.

On June 21 at 7:30 p.m. Wellfleet Harbor Actors Theater will present a curated evening of short plays addressing the topic of gun control in the United States, selected from 24 Gun Control Plays. The reading, a benefit for the For Alison Foundation and WHAT, is curated by Nathan Winkelstein and directed by Jeffry George.

Alan Pally, an authority on Tony and Academy Award-winning British playwright Peter Shaffer ("Amadeus," "Equus"), will be guest speaker at the Playhouse's Sunday Symposium following the Sunday, June 4, 3 p.m. matinee performance of Shaffer's comedy "Lettice and Lovage."
