THE LADY WAS A GENTLEMAN is Fabulous Fun at Strand Theater in Baltimore

The year is 1858. Charlotte Cushman, renowned performer in the US and abroad, plays male roles onstage as often as female roles, and prefers them. Strand Theater Company produces Barbara Kahn's script, which is built for humor, and spotlights an underappreciated American heroine. This female-centric production is triumphant queer comic theater.

BlueBarn Theatre to Present THE LEGEND OF SLEEPY HOLLOW in October

Washington Irving's Masterpiece The Legend of Sleepy Hollow comes to spooky life with a top-notch ensemble and sheer theatrical invention at BlueBarn Theatre. Omaha's own Ben Beck and Jill Anderson incorporate music, dance, and puppetry into a world premier adaptation, with scenic design by Sarah Rowe and original music composed by Olga Smola.

Line-Up Announced For 31st Annual RHINOCEROS THEATER FESTIVAL

The Rhinoceros Theater Festival celebrates its 31st year with six weeks of performances from January 11 - February 23, 2020 at Prop Thtr, 3502 N. Elston Ave. in Chicago. Comedy Pigs Set 23rd Season

The Comedy Pigs, Maryland Ensemble Theatre's (MET) side-splitting improv troupe, are returning for their 23rd season with 28 performances featuring short-form improvisation and new sketch shows.

Comedy Pigs Sets 22nd Season

The Comedy Pigs, Maryland Ensemble Theatre's (MET) hilarious improv troupe are returning for their 22nd season with 26 performances which will include a brand new sketch show. Since the Comedy Pigs debuted in 1993, they have performed over 500 shows including nationwide improv festivals, have been featured on Comedy Central and have been guests at the National Pork Producers Convention. The upcoming 22nd season promises plenty of laughs with some new twists and audience favorites.

MET's Comedy Pigs Celebrate 20 Years with 2012-2013 Season

Maryland Ensemble Theatre's (MET) improv and sketch comedy troupe, The Comedy Pigs, debuted in early 1993. This coming 2012-2013 season they will celebrate twenty years of laughter with eight prime-time shows, eight late night shows and a two week run of a brand new sketch show for a total of twenty-two hilarious nights of comedy. The Pigs are also adding four new members to the pen for this landmark upcoming season.
