The Northeast Children's Theatre Company, a not-for-profit arts education organization, is proud to announce a star-studded lineup of entertainment for its 3rd Annual Broadway in Connecticut Gala. The fundraiser, set for tonight, October 17 in Connecticut, will feature an evening of music with Broadway stars Julia Murney (WICKED, THE WILD PARTY), Alysha Umphress (ON THE TOWN, AMERICAN IDIOT) and Adam Kaplan (NEWSIES). Special guest appearances by other Broadway stars will be announced at a later time.

Parlor Night strikes again! Were you there for the latest Broadway pop-up party? This time, the intimate evening was hosted at the luscious Upper East Side townhouse of John Demsey (Group President of Estee Lauder). Demsey's home with its rich hues, magnificent art collection adorning the walls, and second floor living room was once home to Montgomery Clift in the early 1960s and was the hangout for luminaries such as Marilyn Monroe and Marlon Brando. So, it was only fitting that John's home embraced the second installment of Parlor Night to benefit Broadway Inspirational Voices Outreach Program.

Last night, Broadway stars Stephanie J. Block and Aaron Lazar performed in 'A Cabaret Evening' at 54 Below (254 West 54th Street). The evening was a joint benefit in support of The New York Pops PopsEd Programs and Ronald McDonald House New York. The two organizations partner to provide music education programs that serve as creative outlets for the children and families in residence.

Broadway's 40 theatres aren't the only places to catch performances from your favorite stars! Well after Broadway orchestras begin their overtures, ensemble members take their dance breaks, and performers belt out their eleven o'clock numbers, the party continues at various cabaret venues throughout New York City. The songwriting team of Will Van Dyke and Jeff Talbott is set to release an EP of their songs called A VIEW OF THE RIVER today, September 15, 2015. They will then follow up the release with a concert of their songs at 54 Below on Monday, September 21, 2015 at 9:30 p.m.

Like all of the theatre community, BroadwayWorld is shocked and saddened to learn of the untimely passing of 21-year-old Les Miserables performer Kyle Jean-Baptiste after an accident at his mother's home on Friday night. Club 11 London has announced Broadway star of Wicked, Julia Murney, will play 2 shows at the Hippodrome Casino, Leicester Sq, on Monday 2nd November 2015 at 8pm and 11pm. The concert will feature favourite numbers and the late night show will include duets with current West End Stars.

Marty Thomas Presents DIVA is a celebration of fabulous female vocalists paying tribute to histories most over the top icons. Vineyard Arts Project, a nonprofit performing arts residency center on Martha's Vineyard, has announced the cast and creative team of Flying Over Sunset, a new musical to be developed in residence in August.
