On March 14th, Sam Underwood, currently starring in FOX's 'The Following' will make his solo show debut at 54 Below with A Second Impression. He will be joined by guest stars Julia Murney (Wicked, Lennon) Valorie Curry ('House of Lies,' 'The Following'), Tessa Fairey (Rockabye Hamlet, Supersoldier), and Breighanna Minnema (The Bully, Gotta Getta Girl).

The Broadway at Birdland concert series was thrilled to present the fifth annual 'Broadway Belts for PFF' on Monday, February 23. The evening was hosted by Julie Halston, spokesperson for the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, and raised over $150,000. Scroll down for photos from the concert!

On Friday, March 6, noted arranger Fred Barton will bring the music of Broadway and the American Songbook showmanship to the Schimmel Center at Pace University in American Showstoppers: An Evening of Irving Berlin. Hailed by George Gershwin as 'the greatest songwriter that has ever lived,' the legendary Irving Berlin composed some of the most influential and widely-known songs ever written, many of which have come to form the Great American Songbook. Fred Barton now brings the power of Berlin's Broadway sound front and center, with a hot 14-piece orchestra and a cast of 17 Broadway singers and dancers, and direction and choreography by Jason Wise.

Tony-winning composer Jason Robert Brown's much-loved stage musical The Last Five Years gets the big screen treatment in The Last Five Years- a dynamic, achingly romantic new film from Oscar-nominated filmmaker Richard LaGravenese (The Fisher King) and starring Oscar nominee Anna Kendrick (Into the Woods, Pitch Perfect) and Tony nominee Jeremy Jordan (Newsies, 'Smash'). After a SOLD OUT engagement last fall, #SOBLESSED Live! returns to 54 BELOW tonight, February 7th at 11:30 p.m., benefiting Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS!

Despite being a ratings disaster, there were a number of positive things that came out of SMASH's run on NBC; Megan Hilty's star turn, endless internet memes, and Annoying Actor Friend. The internet phenomenon @Actor_Friend 'werked' its way to the forefront of the theatre community's consciousness with its biting, but honest critiques of the musical melodrama's two-year TV run.

Broadway's Julie Halston, currently featured in the hit revival of Kaufman and Hart's You Can't Take It With You, will host the 5th Annual Broadway Belts for PFF! (Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation) on February 23 at 7:00pm at Birdland Jazz Club (315 West 44th Street) as part of 'Broadway at Birdland' series.
