The Muny announced today its full cast and design teams for Disney's The Little Mermaid, the second production of its 99th season, which plays June 20-29. Disney's The Little Mermaid is proudly sponsored by Emerson.

Riverside Theatre, led by Producing Artistic Director/CEO Allen D. Cornell and Managing Director/COO Jon R. Moses, present the classic Broadway hit, Mame, which performs on the Stark Stage from March 7-26, 2017. Mame is sponsored by the O'Haire Fessler Group - Merrill Lynch Wealth Management and Riverside Theatre's Patron Producers Group.

Due to popular demand, a performance has been added to the regularly scheduled run of Mame. The added performance will take place on Sunday, March 19 at 7:30pm, making week two of the run a 9-performance week. Mame runs from March 7 -26, 2017 at Riverside Theatre.

With a more mature theme and characters, Disney presented us with one of the best love stories of all time. "Beauty and the Beast" came roaring with beauty onto the Morris Performing Arts Center stage, and fans and audience members couldn't get enough of this stunning performance. I absolutely loved the revamped production of NETworks, "Beauty and the Beast" with direction by Rob Roth.

The annals of music theatre are dotted with plenty of amazing and award winning shows. Shows that have become classics, and part of the 'Golden Age' of music theatre. Thoroughly Modern Millie may be a recent Broadway hit, but this masterpiece deserves it's place alongside the classics of American musical theatre, and the cast of Millie at the Ogunquit Playhouse deserves more than a mere footnote in this show's history.
