Connolly's Klub 45 Room Hosts The Cougar Ball, 4/27

On Sunday, April 27th from 6-9pm, Connolly's Klub 45 Room hosts The Cougar Ball, a black-tie (suggested) charity event benefiting The Actors Fund and the Phyllis Newman Women's Health Initiative. It is an elegant (yet cheeky) cocktail party and ballroom featuring Broadway-studded performances and concluding in a fundraising auction and celebration. Sexy young men decorate the scene, ensuring decadent treats are never far from reach, and fun is had by all.

Directed by the venerated Scott Guthrie, performers include the Cast of "Cougar the Musical" (TONY-nominated Brenda Braxton, Mary Mossberg, & Babs Winn); TONY-winning Musical Director Fred Barton & Karen Wilder; Joy Franz (Original and Revival cast of "Into The Woods"); C. Hope Belmont; Caren Hearne*; Keith Hines; Nikki Switzer*; Lindsie VanWinkle*; "Aunt Marge and Uncle Charlie"*; and Choreographed Numbers by Vic DiMonda and Anthony Giorgio with a special appearance by Kat Wildish.

*Many of the performers return from their highly lauded appearance in last year's 1st Ball, including Returning Emcee: Brian Childers (Helen Hayes Award winner as Danny Kaye).

Additionally, there is a sexy chorus of dancers including: Erin Augis, Neville Braithwaite, Andrea Dusel-Foil, Joseph Fierberg, Laura Elizabeth Flanagan, Sabra Michelle, Owen Pelesh, Cesar Razza, Adrienne Unae, and Frank Vomero.

Beyond the spirited show, raffle items will be awarded throughout the evening and a silent Auction will begin online a week before the show. Prizes include a month-long membership to glittery ninja-building Mark Fisher Fitness, 2 private audition/performance/career coaching sessions with Kimberly Vaughn Performance Studio, (1) 50-minute lesson (audition coaching & vocal technique) from Tracey Grimaldi Studios, and a masterclass session of Bob Fosse dance technique with the Verdon/Fosse Estate. Raffle items include gifts from the Broadway shows WICKED, ANNIE, and A NIGHT WITH JANIS JOPLIN; dancewear gift bags from SANSHA; and various other goodies.
