The Adventures of Superbunny (Episode 5), a new musical for audiences of all ages, will be making its premiere at New York Theater Festival's SummerFest in October during National Book Month. This month-long celebration focuses on the importance of reading, writing, and literaturea?"a?"three subjects the Superbunny series holds very dear.

The Adventures of Superbunny (Episode 5) will be presented at the NY Theater Festival's SummerFest (newyorktheaterfestival.com) by non-profit theatre company Rabbit Hole Theatricks, Inc. (www.RabbitHoleTheatricks.org). Thumperino Superbunny returns for his fifth musical adventure and this time the stakes are higher than ever. The Adventures of Superbunny (Episode 5) is based on an award-winning series of children's books by Amber L. Spradlin.

Under Jonathan Berry's direction, Simon Stephens's THE CURIOUS INCIDENT OF THE DOG IN THE NIGHT-TIME has found its emotional center at Steppenwolf. Based upon the novel by Mark Haddon, CURIOUS INCIDENT marks the first Steppenwolf for Young Adults production of this season, and this staging brings the show's theme of human connection to the forefront. I saw this play both on Broadway and on tour when it passed through Chicago in 2016, and the more poignant parts of the narrative felt swallowed up by the cavernous venues. In Steppenwolf's comparably smaller Downstairs Theatre, CURIOUS INCIDENT has considerably more emotional heft while also offering up a unique visual and aural landscape.

Cow's Nutty Christmas, a new children's musical based on a mash up of two storybooks from the Cow Named Cow series--the Book Excellence Award-winning title Cow Saves Christmas and Cow and the Magnificent Milk Making Moo-chine--is coming to the NY Theater Festival's SummerFest.

Steppenwolf for Young Adults (SYA) announces the full casting for its first show of the 2018/19 season, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time. This Tony Award-winning play is adapted by Simon Stephens, based on the book by Mark Haddon and directed by Steppenwolf Artistic Producer Jonathan Berry.

The Princess, The Cow, and The Corn Maze, the latest book from award-winning children's author Amber L. Spradlin, is going to launch the same week that the new children's musical, based on the book, will premiere at the 17th Annual Midtown International Theatre Festival, July 21-23, 2017.

The Princess, The Cow, and The Corn Maze, a new musical making its world premiere this summer at the Midtown International Theatre Festival, has the great honor of being selected as The Bungalow Foundation's (TheBungalow.org) summer outing for children undergoing clinical trials at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. The children and their families will get to see Cow in his latest laugh filled musical adventure. Rabbit Hole Theatricks, the show's presenter, will be donating a copy of the book the musical is based on to each young Sloan Kettering patient coming to see the production.

The House Theatre of Chicago announces the final production in their 15th season, The Great and Terrible Wizard of Oz, adapted from L. Frank Baum's book by The House Theatre Company Member Phillip Klapperich and directed and choreographed by The House Theatre Company Member Tommy Rapley, playing at the Chopin Upstairs Theatre, 1543 W. Division St., March 17 - May 7. Opening/press night is Monday, March 27 at 7 p.m. The performance schedule is Thursdays - Saturdays at 7:30 p.m., Saturday and Sunday matinees at 3 p.m. and Sunday evenings at 7 p.m. Preview tickets (evenings March 17 - March 26, no performance March 25) are $15 and regular run tickets range from $25 - $45. Superbunny Meets the Mummy, a new musical based on the next installment of the award winning children's book series Thumperino Superbunny by Amber L. Spradlin, is coming to the Actors Fund Arts Center on October 29th at 2:30 pm and October 30th at 10:30 am , FREE admission.
