Today, Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) announced the initial line-up for the 2019 SCAD aTVfest, Atlanta's only festival dedicated to television. Now in its seventh year, the university's annual signature event celebrating the television industry will be held at SCADshow on February 7 - 9, 2019. The Lonely Island executive produced series will run for five weeks with two brand-new episodes debuting each week. The second season will feature a roster of stellar comedic acts as well as continuing to follow the platonic, dysfunctional co-dependent, best friendship of series executive producers, stars, and writers Esther Povitsky and Benji Aflalo.

Turner's truTV continues to bolster its growing roster of wholly-owned, original comedies as the network today unveiled its 2018-19 programming slate ahead of next week's 2018 Turner Upfront event at Madison Square Garden. The cable network, which since 2014 has transformed into a premium destination for a wide range of distinct, creator-driven scripted, unscripted and hybrid series, announced the greenlight of Tacoma FD (working title), a new scripted series from Super Troopers' Kevin Heffernan and Steve Lemme about a fire department in the wettest city in America. Also joining the slate are two new pilots - a comedic medical advice show created by Ken Jeong and an animated project from Jo Koy, which are currently in development. The network has also expanded its portfolio of existing original series, with new seasons of ADAM RUINS EVERYTHING and Hack My Life, along with an additional episode order for freshman series Laff Mobb's Laff Tracks.
Kent Alterman, President of Comedy Central announced today that the Emmy® Award-winning Comedy Central series, Drunk History, has been renewed for a sixth season with sixteen episodes. Created for television by Derek Waters and Jeremy Konner, Drunk History is produced by Central Productions and executive produced by Waters and Konner, along with Gary Sanchez Productions' Will Ferrell, Adam McKay and Owen Burke. Ian Friedman and Daniel Wolfberg are the Executives in Charge of Production for Comedy Central. The fifth season currently airs on Tuesdays at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT.
