5 Star Theatricals has released production photos for the regional premiere of the hilarious musical comedy, THE ADDAMS FAMILY, book by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, music & lyrics by Andrew Lippa, musical conductor and direction by Ryan O’Connell, choreography by Darby Epperson and directed by Kirsten Chandler.

Written by Rita Kalnejais and directed by Jack Serio, This Beautiful Future is a story of young love set during World War II. This Beautiful Future will now play Cherry Lane Theatre for six weeks only, through October 30, 2022. After much recognition, including a festival finalist and selection for a prestigious showcase, For Colored Boyz on the verge of a nervous breakdown when freedom ain't enuff is making its World/ Regional Premiere. Written, directed, and choreographed by Bryan-Keyth Wilson, this choreopoem dives deep into the lived experience of five men of color and the challenges of a racist and oppressive society.

 5-Star Theatricals has announced the full cast and creative team that will join award-winning film and television icon Teri Hatcher as “Morticia Addams” in the regional premiere of The Addams Family. The Addams Family opens on Friday, October 14, 2022 and runs through Sunday, October 23, 2022.

Second Stage Theater has announced casting for the upcoming world premiere production of PATIENCE by JOHNNY G. LLOYD. The production is directed by Zhailon Levingston and will feature Justiin Davis, Jonathan Burke, Nemuna Ceesay, Zainab Barry, and Mary E. Hodges.

The Public Theater just celebrated opening night of Free Shakespeare in the Park production of RICHARD III at The Delacorte Theater in Central Park. BroadwayWorld was there for the big day and we have photos from the red carpet arrivals!

Liquid Theatre Collective and Randy Donaldson, Executive Producer, will present two (2) private industry readings of MARIAN, an original musical based on the life of world-renowned contralto, Marian Anderson.
