The latest standings as of Monday, December 5th, have been released for the 2022 BroadwayWorld Rockland / Westchester Awards! Nominations were reader-submitted and now our readers get to vote for their favorites.

Join in on Sunday, April 3rd at 2pm for a special performance of Antrim Playhouse's production of the Tony-award winning musical, Falsettos, by William Finn and James Lapine. All tickets are $25 and benefit the Rockland County Pride Center.

Antrim Playhouse, Rockland County's longest running community theatre will present the Tony Award-winning musical, FALSETTOS. Performances will be held Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm and Sundays at 2pm from March 25th to April 10th.

Ironically, Miklos Laszlo's 1937 play 'Parfumerie' was not produced in the United States until 2009. Yet that did not stop the Hungarian hit from becoming the inspiration for a whole host of American films, plays and musicals: first the 1940 film, 'The Shop Around the Corner' with James Stewart and Margaret Sullivan, then in 1949 as 'In the Good Old Summertime' with Judy Garland and Van Johnson, then in 1998 as 'You've Got Mail,' with Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan. It also inspired the 1964 musical by Jerry Bock and Sheldon Harnick, (the team behind 'Fiddler on the Roof').

Elmwood Playhouse of Nyack NY will be presenting "She Loves Me', written by Joe Masteroff (Book), Jerry Bock (Music), Sheldon Harnick (Lyrics), based on a play by Miklos Laszlos and directed by Larry Gabbard. 'She Loves Me' is considered the most charming musical ever written. 'She Loves Me' runs November 9th thru December 8th Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm, Sundays at 2pm with an additional Thursday performance on December 6th at 8pm and an additional matinee on Saturday December 8th at 2pm. Tickets are $29 / $27 Seniors and Students.

'The Bridges of Madison County' was a silly book that was elevated greatly by superb performances in its film incarnation. Jason Robert Brown's musical take on the story isn't quite as successful. However, Elmwood Playhouse's strong cast makes it worth the trip.
