Film at Lincoln Center announced today that the 58th New York Film Festival (NYFF), taking place from September 25th through October 11th, will feature changes to the festival's programming structure and new selection committee and advisory roles. The festival is also exploring a combination of both in-person and digital experiences, as circumstances allow.
SF Sketchfest announced a new series of Live from the Archive videos that will be released each Tuesday beginning on May 5, 2020. It starred James Snyder, Elizabeth Stanley and Harriet Harris. Waters told me how he felt about being asked to turn one of his other hit films into a Broadway musical. 'I was thrilled because I had just had such a wonderful experience with Hairspray and to be honest, Cry Baby was the only real musical movie I ever made. Hairspray was a dance movie. The music in this is such a breath of new talent on Broadway.'

It can now be confirmed that the tour will open at Leicester Curve on 20 August and will visit the following venues in 2020: Manchester Palace, Bradford Alhambra, Blackpool Winter Gardens, Aylesbury Waterside, Birmingham Hippodrome, Glasgow Kings Theatre, Northampton Royal and Derngate, Woking New Victoria, Liverpool Empire and Brighton Theatre Royal.
