Michigan Shakespeare Festival Announces Cast for October 28th's ICHABOD

Lansing - The Michigan Shakespeare Festival is thrilled to announce an All-Star Michigan Cast for the ICHABOD, a new play by accomplished playwright Joseph Zettelmaier. The reading will take place at 3 pm on Saturday, October 28, at the Library of Michigan in Lansing. The events of ICHABOD take place in a tiny tavern just outside the village of Sleepy Hollow. Twenty years earlier, the titular Ichabod had an encounter with the Headless Horseman and he has at last returned to the town that cast him out.

Williamston Theatre Receives Grant from the MCACA

The Williamston Theatre has been awarded a grant from the Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs (MCACA). The $27,000 grant will support the general operations of the Williamston Theatre for the 2017-2018 Season, which will include six productions and many special programs.

Williamston Theatre presents MURDER FOR TWO

Mid-Michigan's award winning professional theatre company, Williamston Theatre, located at 122 S. Putnam Street in downtown Williamston, closes out Season Eleven with Murder for Two book and music by Joe Kinosian, book and lyrics by Kellen Blair.  Performances for this killer musical comedy begin Thursday, July 13 and run through Sunday, August 20.  Tickets are now on sale.

Williamston Theatre Receives Grant from Shubert Foundation

The Williamston Theatre is thrilled to announce that the The Shubert Foundation has awarded the Williamston Theatre with a $20,000 Theatre Grant. This is the third year that the Foundation has provided support for the Williamston Theatre.

Williamston Theatre Receives Grants from Tourism Fund

The Williamston Theatre has been awarded a grant from the Ingham County Hotel/Motel Grant Fund in support of its marketing initiatives to out-of-county residents. The Arts Council of Greater Lansing administers the award funding.

Williamston Theatre Presents A Michigan Premiere Of Orwell's 1984

Mid-Michigan's award winning professional theatre company, Williamston Theatre, located at 122 S. Putnam Street in downtown Williamston, takes a turn at classic literate with the Michigan Premiere of 1984 by George Orwell, adapted by Michael Gene Sullivan.  Performances begin Thursday, March 23 and run through Sunday, April 23.  Tickets go on sale Tuesday, February 28 at Noon.

Two Ingham County Arts Organizations Receive High Marks

The Williamston Theatre and the Lansing Art Gallery have been recognized for excellence with scores above 95 on their annual applications for grant funding from the Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs (MCACA).

Williamston Theatre to Present THE NERD

Williamston Theatre Sells 10,000th Ticket

On Saturday, August 9, 2014, the Williamston Theatre reached a milestone when it sold its 10,000th ticket in a single season for the first time since opening in 2006. In total, 65,425 people have attended regular performances at the Williamston Theatre since 2006.
