La Femme Theatre Productions presents the revival of Tennessee William's A Lovely Sunday for Creve Coeur, directed by Austin Pendleton. After staging a string of successful co-productions with top Off-Broadway theater companies, La Femme is thrilled to debut its first solo production. Performance run through October 21, 2018 at the St. Clement's (423 West 46th St). A fitting venue for this production, St. Clement's was founded by Tennessee William's cousin, Reverend Sidney Lanier.

Baruch Performing Arts Center is pleased to present the world premiere of Words on the Street, a hybrid music-theater event that wrestles with power, complacency, and excess. Originally written by Anna Rabinowitz as a series of poems, Words on the Street has been transformed into a unique production, collaboratively conceived and developed by Rabinowitz, director Kristin Marting, the late composer Matt Marks (1980-2018), and video designer Lianne Arnold. In response to the untimely death of Matt Marks, a community of composers, Lainie Fefferman, John Glover, Mary Kouyoumdjian, David T. Little, Kamala Sankaram, Caroline Shaw, and Randall Woolf have contributed additional compositions to create a highly original sonic world for the work. Music direction is by Mila Henry.

A Weekend With Legendary American Playwright Terrence McNally Announced at ZACH Theatre

ZACH Theatre, in partnership with the Harry Ransom Center, announces a weekend of star-studded events celebrating four-time Tony Award-winning playwright and LGBT activist Terrence McNally. McNally will be in attendance at the events celebrating his 80th birthday and legendary career from November 10 to 12. Monday, November 12 event to feature Tony Award winner John Glover, Golden Globe winner F. Murray Abraham, and Emmy winner Richard Thomas.

The season includes the 27th year of the Milt Hinton Jazz Perspectives series, a 5th Anniversary celebration of the CUNY Dance Initiative, and work in progress by veteran writer-performer Penny Arcade. MTC's SAINT JOAN Enters Final Two Weeks

Manhattan Theatre Club's new Broadway production of Saint Joan written by Nobel Prize in Literature and Academy Award winner Bernard Shaw and directed by Tony Award winner Daniel Sullivan is now in its final two weeks of performances. The production is produced in association with Eddie Marks/Ostar. Today, Wednesday May 30, marks the Feast Day of Saint Joan - which celebrates her life and her sainthood.
