The Antony Tudor Ballet Trust is pleased to announce that Amanda McKerrow has been appointed to be its new Trustee, effective immediately. Ms. McKerrow will be responsible for preserving the work and legacy of Antony Tudor for future generations, ensuring that Tudor's works and teachings are never lost. Sally Bliss, who became the Trustee after Antony Tudor's death in 1987, will step down from this position after 30 years. She will remain as Trustee Emeritus.

The immensely versatile and renowned pianist Ian Hobson, whose playing has been described by Gramophone as 'intensely alive to expressive nuance, textural clarity and elastic shaping,' will continue his Sound Impressions: The Piano Music of Debussy and Ravel, on Wednesday Evening, April 4, 2018, 7:30pm, at SubCulture, 45 Bleecker Street (between Bowery and Lafayette Streets.) Known best for her masterful work Three Junes, Glass has orchestrated another richly plotted novel of friendship and love that explores as well the impact of artistic ambition, the perils of celebrity, and the power of an unexpected legacy.

Vilia Putrius, one of Festival Ballet Providence's (FBP) leading dancers for more than ten seasons, will retire from the company at the end of FBP's 39th Season next month. Ms. Putrius, who joined the FBP company in 2006, has performed many of the most memorable principal roles in FBP's repertoire, such as Juliet in Romeo & Juliet, the Sugar Plum Fairy in The Nutcracker, Odette/Odile in Swan Lake, among many others. Her final performance will be Sunday May 14, 2017 at The Vets, dancing the title role in Cinderella.*

Colorado Ballet opens its 56th season with 11 performances of the romantic classic Swan Lake, October 7-23, 2016at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House with Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky's classic score performed live by the Colorado Ballet Orchestra. 

On September 13th, 2016, Charging Moose Media teamed up with the band Common Jack to record and film three tracks off their new album, Strange New State. The session took place at sunset on a rooftop in Ridgewood, with the New York City skyline in the background.

Brooklyn based indie folk-rock outfit Common Jack was formed by singer-songwriter & multi-instrumentalist John Gardner during a two and a half year world tour with the actor-musician Broadway show, ONCE.

Colorado Ballet seeks schools and organizations throughout Colorado and out-of-state to participate in free remote live streams of its student matinee performances of Swan Lake and The Nutcracker during the 2016-2017 season. The Swan Lake live stream will take place at 10 a.m. MST on October 6 and The Nutcracker live stream will take place at 11 a.m. MST on December 2.
