Libera: Back in the Philippines for Concert Tour, 2/19-23

In an extended commemoration of the Philippine-British Friendship Week, Concertus Manila, the British Alumni Association of the Philippines, led by its Chair Roberto De Ocampo, and the Arts Council Cebu are bringing back the world-renowned Libera, which are made up of British youngsters, six to 17 years of age, to star in a concert titled 'Philippine Friendship Tour' at Meralco Theatre in Pasig City tonight, 8 p.m. and at Pacific Grand Ballroom, Waterfront Hotel, in Cebu City this Saturday, Feb. 23, 8 p.m.

Acclaimed Guitarist David Grier Readies WAYS OF THE WORLD For 3/29 Release

David Grier is pleased to announce his newfull-length album, Ways Of The World, due for release on March 29, 2019. Hosted on Grier's label, Dreadnought Recordings, and co-produced with Brent Truitt (The SteelDrivers), the project unveils ten original songs penned by Grier as well as two century-old fiddle tunes that are revived with a new twist. This is also the first album to feature Grier on lead vocals. Free Political Forum To Follow Performance Of FROST/NIXON At TheatreWorks Silicon Valley

TheatreWorks Silicon Valley announces a special post-show political forum for its production of the Tony and Olivier Award-nominated drama Frost/Nixon. Following the 2pm performance of Frost/Nixon on Saturday, February 2 at the Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts, audiences are invited to discuss the history and current relevance of the Watergate scandal with Dr. Theodore Glasser of Stanford University and Dr. Terri Bimes of University of California Berkeley in a conversation moderated by Cameron Wells, the assistant director of Frost/Nixon. Glasser, a professor emeritus of Communication whose research specializes in media practices and press accountability, and Bimes, a lecturer and Assistant Director of Research for the Institute of Governmental Studies who teaches about the presidency, will bring their unique perspectives to this free political forum, open to audience members and community members.

Antony Tudor Ballet Trust Announces New Amanda McKerrow As New Trustee

The Antony Tudor Ballet Trust is pleased to announce that Amanda McKerrow has been appointed to be its new Trustee, effective immediately. Ms. McKerrow will be responsible for preserving the work and legacy of Antony Tudor for future generations, ensuring that Tudor's works and teachings are never lost. Sally Bliss, who became the Trustee after Antony Tudor's death in 1987, will step down from this position after 30 years. She will remain as Trustee Emeritus.
