Ina Garten Announces New BE MY GUEST Food Network Series

The new series is structured with three distinct versions: an hour-long extended cut on discovery+, food-centric half-hour on Food Network at 12pm ET/PT and a companion podcast. The series' season one guests include Julianna Margulies, Erin French, Willie Geist, Rob Marshall, and John DeLuca.

DR. SEUSS’ HOW THE GRINCH STOLE CHRISTMAS THE MUSICAL played to a delighted Atlanta audience for ten performances at the Fox Theatre earlier this month as part of the Broadway in Atlanta's 40th Anniversary Season. The New York Times describes the show as “100 times better than any bedtime story,” and has been enchanting adults and children alike. “We’re greatly optimistic about the return of Broadway to the city of Atlanta and thrilled to share the news that shows previously announced for the 40th Anniversary season will remain available to patrons under a revised schedule,” said Vice President of Broadway in Atlanta Russ Belin. Andrew Polec to Star as The Grinch in DR. SEUSS'S HOW THE GRINCH STOLE CHRISTMAS! at The Old Globe; Full Cast Announced

The Old Globe announced today its full cast and creative team for the live, in-person return of Dr. Seuss’s How the Grinch Stole Christmas! The cast will be led by Andrew Polec as The Grinch. Polec returns to The Old Globe after his performance as Berger in the 2021 summer hit production of Hair, The American Tribal Love-Rock Musical.

DR. SEUSS' HOW THE GRINCH STOLE CHRISTMAS! THE MUSICAL features the hit songs “You're A Mean One, Mr. Grinch” and “Welcome Christmas” (written by Albert Hague and Dr. Seuss) from the original animated series. Max the Dog narrates as the mean and scheming Grinch, whose heart is “two sizes too small,” decides to steal Christmas away from the Holiday loving Whos.

Disney Retains & Furloughs THE LITTLE MERMAID Film Crew

After previously serving a termination notice, Disney has decided to retain and furlough the crew working on its UK production The Little Mermaid. According to Deadline, Disney will utilize the government's Job Retention Scheme, which means they will receive 80% of salary up to a maximum of £2,500 ($3,100) per month.

Disney Pauses Production on THE LITTLE MERMAID

Disney has announced that its stopping production on its feature films until this whole coronavirus outbreak blows over, which includes the live-action adaptation of The Little Mermaid, according to Deadline. The other films include Home Alone, The Last Duel, Nightmare Alley, and Peter Pan & Wendy and Shrunk.

The Old Globe's 22nd annual production of Dr. Seuss's How the Grinch Stole Christmas! opens Friday, November 15 at 7:00 p.m. The holiday musical will run through December 29 on the Donald and Darlene Shiley Stage in the Old Globe Theatre, part of the Globe's Conrad Prebys Theatre Center. Previews began November 10. The Grinch is directed by James Vásquez, with book and lyrics by Timothy Mason and music by Mel Marvin. The original production of Dr. Seuss's How the Grinch Stole Christmas! was conceived and directed by Jack O'Brien with additional lyrics by Theodor S. Geisel, additional music by Albert Hague, and original choreography by John DeLuca.
