To conclude the run, Joel Grey, who directed the acclaimed production, took an evocative New Year's Eve shot of the cast standing with the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island in the distance.
On the heels of its spectacular, sold-out run of the Yiddish language presentation of Fiddler on The Roof, National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene (NYTF) has announced the upcoming Winter-Spring 2019 season, which will include the civil-rights era inspired concert Soul to Soul, restored gems from the golden age of the Yiddish theater in From the Yiddish Rialto to the Silver Screen and the world premiere of the jazz opera Dear Erich, being presented with the New York City Opera.

Both shows are generously priced: $125 for the early show and $165 for the late show. In both cases, tickets include a delicious 3-course dinner, and a half-bottle of Cava per person. The cast recording, released by Time Life Music and distributed byWarner Music Group, will be available in 2019, with an official date to be announced before the show transfers to Off-Broadway's Stage 42 in February.

Broadway vets, Danette Holden, who was last seen in New York City in the acclaimed Off Broadway production of Cagney, the Musical and Kevin Csolak, currently in Tina Fey's Mean Girls on Broadway at the August Wilson Theatre hosted Hunterdon's Stangl Stage Holiday Cabaret, Shine On, to high acclaim this past Sunday. Produced by LBC Talent, NYC the event featured multigenerational homegrown Hunterdon County talent making their mark on the world stage on Broadway, in the music industry, in film and television.
BroadwayWorld reported last week the additional cast that will appear in Fosse/Verdon, an eight episode limited series from award-winning producers Thomas Kail, Steven Levenson, Lin-Manuel Miranda and Joel Fields. Production on the series, now officially titled Fosse/Verdon, is currently underway in New York City ahead of its premiere on FX in Spring 2019.
