Cabaret On Sundays Series presents Clifford Bell and one of his Cabarabia Spotlight shows with Clifford and his friends from Palm Springs: SHARON SILLS, BONNIE GILGALLON, and JOEL BAKER, and from San Diego: DAVID DOOLEY.

The popular 'Cabaret On Sundays' Series presented by Les Michaels of Life Is A Cabaret will begin the 11th season on June 2, 2019 with a total of 18 shows in the Summer Season that runs through September 29, 2019.  The cabaret shows are presented in concert format at the Arthur Newman Theatre located in the Joslyn Center in Palm Desert at 73750 Catalina Way.  All shows are Sundays at 2 pm and tickets are all $15 cash only and doors open at 1 pm. 

The Coachella Valley Repertory (CVRep), now settled into its newly renovated 210 seat playhouse in Cathedral City, has announced it will remain open throughout the hot summer months to present an exciting line-up of one night only summer performances beginning in June, 2019.

From May 4 to October 27, 2019, the Yerba Buena Gardens Festival will present over 100 free music, theater, circus, dance, poetry, and children's programs with artists from the Bay Area and around the world.

Chicago cabaret singer Kevin Wood will bring his new show, 'Taking A Chance' to the Arthur Newman Theater on Sunday, March 24, 2019 at 2 PM. The show features songs that point a comical and even poignant light at life, relationships, careers, health, aging, retirement, and more. Joining Kevin will be local pianist, Joel Baker. The Arthur Newman Theater is located at the Joslyn Center at 73750 Catalina Way in Palm Desert. The show is part of the 10th season of Cabaret On Sundays Series presented by Les Michaels. Tickets for the show are $15 cash only at the box office that opens at 1 PM.

Jeffrey Lesser will perform his one-man cabaret-style concert entitled 'Life Upon The Wicked Stage' on Sunday, February 24, 2019 at the Arthur Newman Theater in Palm Desert. Local entertainer Bonnie Gilgallon will debut her new one-woman cabaret concert on Sunday, November 25, 2018 at the Arthur Newman Theater in Palm Desert. The show is entitled "Bonnie Sings Rosie" and the Rosie is the incomparable Rosemary Clooney. Bonnie's show is part of the Cabaret On Sundays Series 10th season and presented by Les Michaels. Joining Bonnie will be pianist Joel Baker and Danny Flahive on bass. Tickets for the show are $15 cash only and sold at the door that opens at 1 pm for the 2 pm show.

Palm Springs Gay Men's Chorus launches their 20th Anniversary Season with 'Men in Tights - A Holiday Spectacular.' December 14-16 at The Annenberg Theatre in Palm Springs.  In ACT I, The chorus will present songs and dances to transport you to the Renaissance when knights were bold. 'Christmas in the Cloisters,' Boar's Head Carol,' 'Sing We Now of Christmas' and 'Gloucestershire Wassail' music from the time of Camelot will have you experiencing holidays with a king and his court.

The Palm Springs Gay Men's Chorus (PSGMC) and Palm Canyon Theatre (PCT) join theatrical forces on Sunday, September 30 at 7:00 p.m. as they bring an enchanted evening of 'The Best Of Rodgers And Hammerstein' to the desert to benefit both organizations. This cast for includes two-time Emmy® nominated actress and singer Bobbie Eakes along with the vocal talents of desert favorites Theresa Jewett, Charles Herrera, and Keisha D, who will perform numbers written and composed by Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein. Members of the Palm Canyon Theatre Company will sing selections from Oklahoma!  the Palm Springs Gay Men's Chorus will present  'There is Nothing Like a Dame' from South Pacific, 'We Kiss in a Shadow' from The King and I and 'Boys and Girls Like You and Me' from State Fair.  The concert will be followed by a reception under the stars.

Vocalist, Gerald Colucci will sing live with Joel Baker on piano, some of the many songs made famous by Italian Singers past and present and from genres including, Popular Standards, Broadway, Great American Songbook and Opera.

A cabaret concert style musical starring Brad Seiple with Joel Baker on piano. The show follows Brad through the movies he grew up with and the songs in those movies and why they mean a lot to him now that he's grown up.

"Broadway 1950's - The Golden Age" starring Deirdre Moncy and Tom Kiesche will be presented on Sunday, February 25, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Arthur Newman Theater located in the Joslyn Center in Palm Desert. Musical director and pianist for the show will be Joel Baker and tickets are $15 cash only at the box office that opens at 1 PM.

Desert Rose Playhouse's director, Jim Strait, and musical director, Joel Baker, have added popular numbers and Christmas songs to Charles Busch's TIMES SQUARE ANGEL to create what the playbill calls a musical pastiche.
