THE PLOT AGAINST AMERICA, a limited series based on the acclaimed Philip Roth novel of the same name, imagines an alternate American history during World War II, told through the eyes of a working-class Jewish family in New Jersey as they endure the political rise of Charles Lindbergh, an aviator-hero and xenophobic populist, who captures the presidency and turns the nation toward fascism. Created by frequent collaborators David Simon and Ed Burns (HBO's “The Wire” and “Generation Kill”), the six-part limited series THE PLOT AGAINST AMERICA debuts MONDAY, MARCH 16 (9:00-10:00 p.m. ET/PT), exclusively on HBO.

Grammy®-nominated singer/songwriter Bebe Rexha unveils new single, “You Can't Stop The Girl' (Warner Records) which is the featured song for Disney's “Maleficent: Mistress of Evil.” The accompanying video was helmed by award-winning director Sophie Muller and will be released in the weeks ahead. Netflix, the world's leading internet entertainment service, today announced its first slate of films and series based on the stories of Mark Millar. Netflix acquired Millar's company, Millarworld, last year and since then has been developing projects with Mark and Lucy Millar, including The Magic Order, which has been published as Netflix's first comic book and was the biggest selling new comic-book franchise in nearly 20 years.  

According to Variety, Lee Daniels is in talks to direct the Billie Holiday biopic “Billie.” Sources also add that R&B singer Andra Day is the top choice for the title role and Lakeith Stanfield for the male role, though nothing is yet finalized.

Production has begun on “Maleficent II,” a sequel to the 2014 global box office hit “Maleficent,” at Pinewood Studios and on locations throughout the U.K.. Oscar® and three-time Golden Globe® winner Angelina Jolie (“Girl, Interrupted,” “Wanted”) and Elle Fanning (“The Beguiled,” “Super 8”) reprise their roles as the dark fairy Maleficent and Princess Aurora, respectively, two characters from the studio's animated classic “Sleeping Beauty,” whose untold story was brought to life on screen in “Maleficent.”
