Jason Bateman To Direct Untitled Feature For Netflix

Jason Bateman has made a deal with Netflix to direct an untitled action comedy film, according to Deadline.

The script will be written by Game Night and Accepted screenwriter Mark Perez.

The film will be produced by Bateman with Michael Costigan under their Aggregate Films banner. They will also team up with Jeff Kirschenbaum and Joe Roth. Bateman will not star in the film, and casting is underway.

Last summer, Bateman staked Aggregate to a first look deal, after after working together through two seasons of Ozark, and Arrested Development.

Aggregate is now one of several the Netflix talent deals that range from Shonda Rhimes and Ryan Murphy to Adam Sandler, Ian Bryce, Matt Reeves, and Bryan Unkeless and Eric Newman.
