Chance Theater will present the Tony Award-winning ALANIS MORISSETTE'S JAGGED LITTLE PILL at the Cripe Stage in Anaheim, directed by Matthew McCray, with book by Diablo Cody and choreography by Mo Goodfellow.

Chance Theater, Anaheim’s official resident theater company, has announced that its production of “RENT” will be extending thru August 27th on the Cripe Stage at the Bette Aitken theater arts Center.

Featuring distinctively intuitive direction from Matthew McCray, and an amazing, youthful ensemble cast that are consistently giving it their all, this latest OC iteration of Jonathan Larson's Tony-winning 1996 rock opera is much more impactful than even past stagings that have toured---and is one of the best stage musicals they've ever produced.

Chance Theater, Anaheim’s official resident theater company,  has announced the Pulitzer Prize-winning musical, “Rent” as the fourth show in its 25th Anniversary Season.

On Saturday, January 21, 2023 during OC Theatre Guild’s membership meeting, the nominees for the second annual OCTG Theatre Awards were officially announced to the public. The awards ceremony, in which the winners will be revealed, has been scheduled for the evening of Monday, April 17, 2023 at the Samueli Theater at Segerstrom Center for the Arts in Costa Mesa.

THE LIGHT IN THE PIAZZA by CCAE Theatricals is a gorgeous trip to 1950s Florence, Italy that should not be missed. Full of soaring vocals, beautiful costumes and sets, and absolutely lush orchestrations played by a live orchestra this is a show that is fantastic from start to finish.  THE LIGHT IN THE PIAZZA through June 25 at the California Center for the Arts, Escondido.

Young love and secrets, set against the backdrop of the enchanting city of Florence, Italy, takes center stage at California Center for the Arts, Escondido with the multi-award-winning musical The Light in the Piazza from June 17-25 in the Center Theater. Produced by CCAE Theatricals, with a book by Craig Lucas and music and lyrics by Adam Guettel. Kari Hayter will direct.

The added performances will be on Saturday, March 5th at 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. and Sunday, March 6th at 3 p.m.

Chance Theater, Anaheim's official resident theater company, proudly presents the groundbreaking musical, “Next to Normal” as the first show in its 24th Anniversary Season. Directed by Matthew McCray with music direction by Stephen Hulsey, “Next to Normal” will run January 28 - February 27, 2022 on the Cripe Stage at the Bette Aitken theater arts Center. 

Chance Theater, Anaheim's official resident theater company, is delighted to announce that we've added two performances of the West Coast Premiere of Hamish Linklater's The Vandal. Directed by Kari Hayter, The Vandal will add performances on Saturday, October 5th at 3pm and Sunday, October 13th at 7pm. The production run will still closing on October 20th. All performances are on the Fyda-Mar Stage at the Bette Aitken theater arts Center.

Theatre of NOTE continues its 2016 season with the west coast premiere of D DEB DEBBIE DEBORAH by Jerry Lieblich and directed by Doug Oliphant. D DEB DEBBIE DEBORAH will open on Thursday, August 11 and run through Saturday, September 17 at Theatre of NOTE, 1517 N Cahuenga Blvd (just north of Sunset) in Hollywood.

Anaheim's official resident theater company, Chance Theater is pleased to present the Southern California premiere of ... The Big Meal. Written by Orange County native Dan LeFranc, and directed by Associate Artistic Director Jocelyn A. Brown, The Big Meal will preview from April 21 through April 28. Regular performances will begin April 30 and continue through May 22 on the Fyda-Mar Stage at Chance Theater @ Bette Aitken theater arts Center.

Chance Theater will present the fourth show of its 16th Anniversary Season - the clever and sharply drawn fantasy, Maple and Vine. Written by Jordan Harrison, with direction by Mark Ramont. Maple and Vine previews through tonight, September 25, with regular performances beginning tomorrow, September 26 and continuing through October 19 at Chance Theater @ Bette Aitken theater arts Center.
