MusicWorks is presenting two major 'rock and remember' concerts this month at Old School Square, located at 51 N. Swinton Avenue in Delray Beach.

freeFall Theatre in St. Petersburg, FL and The Hippodrome Theatre in Gainesville, FL have joined forces to co-present two productions in their 2019/2020 season. freeFall will present MARIE & ROSETTA opening January 18 and Hippodrome will present LONE STAR SPIRITS opening January 24. The company will then transfer the productions to their respective spaces after the initial run of each show. Both shows will run a combined total of over 8 weeks.

DACAMERA's 2019a?"20 season continues with American Mavericks: Los Angeles Guitar Quartet at Cullen Theater, Wortham Theater Center, on Friday, Feb. 21, 2020, at 8 p.m. With nearly four decades of experience playing together, the Los Angeles Guitar Quartet (LAGQ) is widely regarded as America's most innovative classical guitar ensemble. Marking the quartet's return to the DACAMERA stage, this concert is the 2020 James K. Schooler Memorial Concert, an annual event recognizing the generous bequest made by a loyal DACAMERA subscriber and donor. 

The Frist Art Museum and Fisk University Galleries present Terry Adkins: Our Sons and Daughters Ever on the Altar, concurrent presentations of sculptures, prints, installations, and video by the multidisciplinary and multimedia artist and musician, on view at the Frist from February 20 through May 31, 2020, and at Fisk from February 20 through September 20, 2020.

The Frist Art Museum and Fisk University Galleries present Terry Adkins: Our Sons and Daughters Ever on the Altar, concurrent presentations of sculptures, prints, installations, and video by the multidisciplinary and multimedia artist and musician, on view in the Frist's Gordon Contemporary Artists Project Gallery from February 20 through May 31, 2020, and the Carl Van Vechten Gallery at Fisk from February 20 through September 12, 2020. Presented forty-five years after Adkins's graduation from Fisk, the exhibition pays special attention to the influence that his time in Nashville had on the late internationally acclaimed artist.

A holiday tradition returns as the McCallum Theatre welcomes the Dave Koz and Friends Christmas Tour 2019 at 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 18. The show is made possible through the generosity of Wayne and Rachelle Prim. Since the beginning of his career, Koz has been all about dodging expectations and traditions. His brand-new holiday album, Gifts of the Season, is his seventh holiday release, and features the very same guests with him on this year's Christmas tour.

Ambient Electronic producer Koresma released his latest single 'Snow Globe (ft. Axel Mansoor)' on 15 November via his own imprint Koresma. The track is lifted from his upcoming EP North, part of a four-part series that follows on from previous EP's East and West and boasts mixing credits by Shawn Hatfield of Audible Oddities (Amon Tobin, Tokimonsta, Eskmo, Papadosio). Koresma has seen previous support from tastemaker Youtube channels such as Mr Suicide Sheep, Fluidified, Sir Chillicious, nourish, and Ambient as well as publications such as The 405, Indie Shuffle, Acid Stag, Stereofox and Surviving The Golden Age. He has hit #1 on The Hype Machine Charts a number of times, has 250k monthly Spotify listeners with over 7 million Spotify streams, over 4.3 million Youtube views and was playlisted on Apple Music's 'Today's Chill'. The ambient electronic producer receives regular radioplay from NPR Radio's All Things Considered and The Morning Edition. Koresma has opened shows for the likes of Emancipator, Little People, CloZee, Ninja Tune artist Blockhead and STLNDRMS and he has just been selected to support Emancipator on his winter tour.

MusicWorks and Old School Square today announced a revision for the seven Classic Albums Live concerts starting this Saturday and running through April at Old School Square's outdoor Pavilion, located at 51 N. Swinton Avenue in Delray Beach. Classic Albums Live takes historic rock records and recreates them live on stage, note for note, cut for cut, relying only on the music, performed by some of the country's best touring musicians.

TheatreWorks Silicon Valley, recipient of the 2019 Tony Award for Regional Theatre, has announced the appointment of Tim Bond as its new Artistic Director. Bond will join the company officially in March 2020, stepping in as Founding Artistic Director Robert Kelley winds down his 50th and final season at the helm of the theatre he created, ending one of the longest tenures in American theatre. Kelley previously announced his retirement at the conclusion of the company's current season in June 2020. Said Bond upon accepting the appointment, a?oeI am thrilled to have the opportunity to continue Robert Kelley's great work, and to lead this spirited company into its next exciting phase.a??
