Parallel Exit Presents an At-Home Edition of MOVE IT! Now Streaming

Parallel Exit presents an at-home edition of its annual free physical theatre performance series MOVE IT! While normally performed in a live setting, this year's edition is presented through a video showcasing some of Parallel Exit's colleagues working in physical theatre, dance-theatre, mime, puppetry, circus and variety.

Write Out Loud - an organization founded in 2007 with a commitment to inspire, challenge and entertain by reading literature aloud for a live audience  - presents VOICES OF IRELAND,  their tenth annual celebration of the Emerald Isle, with classic and contemporary Irish tales and music. Write out Loud has been producing Voices of Ireland every March since 2011. VOICES OF IRELAND is performed for one night only on Monday, March 16th at 7:30pm at Lamb's Players Theatre.  Performers include Agustine Welles, Linda Libby, Walter Ritter & Veronica Murphy. Pre-show and intermission music will be provided by the Celtic Echoes.

6th Annual Bayou 'n Brooklyn Music Festival Set for 5/13-15

Bayou 'n Brooklyn and Jalopy Theatre bring local talent together with an amazing line-up of Louisiana musicians for three full days of music, dance, workshops, community jam sessions, and food in Red Hook, Brooklyn. Louisiana-born Courtney Granger and Blake Miller are this year's headliners, and to welcome back long time supporter of the festival, Jesse Lege. Also in this year's line-up are Amelia Biere and Darren Wallace. The celebration kicks off with dance hall bands on Friday May 13, 2016 at 8pm, and the party continues until late Sunday night May 15, 2016. This three-day festival takes place at Jalopy Music Theatre (315 Columbia Street, Between Hamilton & Woodhull, Brooklyn, NY 11231). Three-day Weekend Passes are available for $60, and attendees may participate in music workshops in guitar, Cajun Song, Country Song, Cajun fiddle, Cajun accordion and bass for $30 each. A Red Orchid Theatre announces full cast, creative team and new run dates for the World Premiere of Pilgrim's Progress by Ensemble Member Bret Neveu (The Opponent), directed by Ensemble Member Shade Murray (Mud Blue Sky, Accidentally like a Martyr).  Pilgrim's Progress will now run November 4-December 13, 2015 and feature Ensemble Members Kirsten Fitzgerald and Michael Shannon with Ryan Bourque (The Hypocrite's All Our Tragic) and Charlotte Mae Ellison (Writers Theatre's The Diary of Anne Frank).

A Red Orchid Theatre continues its 22nd Season with the Chicago premiere of Red Handed Otter, written by Ethan Lipton and directed by Dado.
