Broadway actress Christine Andreas will headline at The Media Theatre tonight August 23 during an evening of Broadway classics. She'll be joined by professional singers and actors as Media Music Theatre Company presents 'What We Do', a one-time only concert.

With the fall season approaching quickly schools are getting back into session. This includes The Media Theatre's Acting Classes which go into full course mode starting the weekend of September 6. Produced and supervised by Media Music Theatre Company, the classes offer a semester of professional training for those just beginning or wishing to further their education.

Tonight, August 13 at 7:30pm is the night for Roger Ricker's annual summer concert at The Media Theatre. A fundraising event for Media Music Theatre Company which produces the Broadway Series, Children's Series, and all educational programming at the venue, this year's concert is titled 'Roger Ricker & Friends In Concert: UP!'

They knew at the end of the night only 15 would return for the 'Vocalist' finals on August 6.

The final two-week session for Camp Media Theatre 2014 starts up August 11. It's OZ Camp, in which all songs performed by the campers will be gleaned from 'The Wizard of Oz', 'The Wiz', or 'Wicked'. Camp Media Theatre has had a record-breaking summer. 'We have had more campers this year than ever before,' said Executive Director Patrick Ward. 'As we head into our final two-week session for this year we are getting ready to follow the yellow brick road. We really appreciate the support of each family who has been involved.'

The Media Theatre's Philadelphia regional professional premiere of Andrew Lloyd Webber's Tony winning musical 'Sunset Boulevard', based on the legendary 1950 film, is on stage now through May 18. Scroll down for some new photos from the production!

Sunset Boulevard is not the best musical that Andrew Lloyd Webber ever composed. Its primary storyline; the decline and fall of an aging silent film diva is oddly compelling. The score gets repetitious with the exception of a few torch songs and the lyrics may not always be up to snuff with the music. That having been said, Media Theatre's production is polished and compelling.

The Media Theatre's production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's take on 'Sunset Boulevard', the classic 1950 film noir, is on now through May 18. Check below for photos!
