NYC singer/comedian John Burns will made his solo debut at celebrated Don't Tell Mama cabaret with a performance of his popular show John Burns is a Sexy Beast, first presented for three sold-out dates during WorldPride & Stonewall 50 this past June at The Duplex. Directed by 15-time MAC award-winner Lennie Watts.

State Theatre New Jersey presents the musical Fiddler on the Roof for four performances on Friday, December 20, 2019 at 8pm; Saturday, December 21, 2019 at 2pm and 8pm; and Sunday, December 22, 2019 at 2pm. Tickets range from $40-$98.

The following bits of advice and at-the-piano and behind-the-table wisdom have been distilled from my 30+ years of playing auditions. While I have written a lot of words, a lot of prose, one thing to keep in mind is that auditioning is a three-step process.

It is based on the play Parfumerie by Miklós László (which has also served as the basis for the films The Shop Around the Corner, In the Good Old Summertime and You've Got Mail).

SHE LOVES ME is a rare gem in the 21st century. 

The SDSU School of Theatre, Television, and Film presents She Loves Me, a warm, romantic musical comedy with an endearing innocence and a touch of old-world elegance. She Loves Me runs Wednesday, Dec. 4 through Sunday, Dec. 8, 2019, in SDSU's Don Powell Theater.

The North American tour of the Tony Award - nominated Broadway revival of Fiddler on the Roof in underway. Leeds return to the Arsht Center stage The North American tour of the Tony Award ®-nominated Broadway revival of Fiddler on the Roof is coming to the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County from October 29 to November 3, 2019.

If there is one thing that the village of Anatevka has enough of, it is the love of their traditions.  The national tour of Fiddler on the Roof brought some of that tradition to Thalia Mara Hall in Jackson, Mississippi on October 22nd. The tour's stop in Jackson opened Thalia Mara's Broadway in Jackson series season presented by Trustmark.  The tour itself is presented by NETworks Presentations.

Theater J's 2019 Annual Benefit Performance is an unforgettable evening of musical theater at the newly renovated Edlavitch DCJCC on November 18 at 6:30 PM. The centerpiece of the event, which also includes food, drink, and socializing, is a special musical performance of After Anatevka: a Novel Based on a?oeFiddler on the Roofa?? written and performed by Grammy-nominated artist and author Alexandra Silber. Silber, who has appeared in Fiddler on the Roof on Broadway (directed by Bartlett Sher) and the West End, imagines what happens to Sholem Alecheim's beloved characters of Fiddler on the Roof after they step off stage. The performance features new songs composed by some of the top rising talent in musical theater today and sung by the gifted Silber, who recently played Sally Bowles in Cabaret at Olney Theatre Center.

The Area Stage Company announces that the beloved Broadway show 'FIDDLER ON THE ROOF JR,' will open at ASC's theatre in Coral Gables on November 1st.

The Velma V. Morrison Center for the Performing Arts is proud to present the Boise engagement of the Tony Award-nominated Broadway revival of Fiddler on the Roof at the MORRISON CENTER from January 3-5, 2020. The tour will launch October 17, 2018 in Syracuse, New York at Landmark Theatre.
