It was January 25 2011 and Raissa Katona Bennett brought her new show, exploring the music of Jerome Kern to Feinstein's at The Regency Hotel. It got rave reviews from the critics at that time. Amazingly looking and sounding even better, Raissa returned to the cabaret stage last night at The Laurie Beechman Theatre's West Bank Cafe' and Broadwayworld was there. Check out the photos.

Souvenir.... An Evening with Broadway's Kay Cole... Souvenir celebrates her Los Angeles solo cabaret debut last year with an Encore performance. This is an intensely personal journey through songs that resonate with Ms. Cole's life and career, and that she loves singing. A true collaboration between her... her producer Bruce Kimmel, and her amazing Musical Director John Boswell, the evening will be filled with great songs some Broadway, some pop, but all wonderfully melodic, funny, touching, and lovingly sung. Len Cariou and Liz Robertson, stars of the original Broadway production of Dance A Little Closer, the Charles Strouse and Alan Jay Lerner musical, have joined the cast of its previously announced concert adaptation, on Monday, April 16 at 7 pm at the Green Room 42. Presented in honor of composer Charles Strouse's 90th birthday by the Second Act Series, the stars will perform two songs they originated in the legendary, infamous and short-lived Broadway production. The abridged concert will also include never-before-heard songs cut during the show's workshop period.

Musicians Foundation, the over-a-century-old nonprofit organization that provides financial assistance to artists in need, proudly announces its 2018 Tin Pan Alley Celebration Fundraising Recital, scheduled to take place on April 4 from 6:00 pm to 9:00pm at Yamaha Artist Services Piano Salon, located at 689 5th Avenue in Midtown Manhattan. The evening will feature a performance by acclaimed classical and ragtime pianist Richard Dowling with accompaniment by cabaret and stage vocalist Seth Sykes. The duet will play the music of great Tin Pan Alley composers, including George Gershwin, Cole Porter, Irving Berlin, Scott Joplin and Jerome Kern. Light refreshments and drinks will be served throughout the evening.

Give My Regards to Broadway a new musical review celebrating New York's Greatest Showtunes from 1902 - 1942 will receive it's world premiere at Upstairs at the Gatehouse, Highgate Village from 17th July - 5th August 2018 with press night on 18th July 2018.
