On Sunday June 12th the Palm West's Tony Viewing Party was hosted by Tony Award winner Christian Hoff, who earned the Best Featured Actor in a Musical Award in 2006 for his portrayal of Tommy DeVito in Jersey Boys. The event benefitted The V Foundation for Cancer Research, founded by Jim Valvano in 1993. 

Commissioned by Lincoln Center Theater, J.T. Rogers' Oslo begins performances today, Thursday, June 16 and will open Monday, July 11 at the Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater (150 West 65 Street). 

So many stars! Producer Scott Rudin has announced the staggering complete cast list for the upcoming production of The Front Page, Ben Hecht and Charles MacArthur's classic 1928 comedy set in the world of the Chicago newspaper business.

The 2016 Lucille Lortel Awards for Outstanding Achievement Off-Broadway were handed out last night to recipients in 18 categories, with two special awards and two honorary awards also bestowed. The upcoming Broadway revival of Ben Hecht and Charles MacArthur's dark comedy The Front Page has welcomed another stage vet to the fold.

Occasionally we venture beyond the borders of Ventura County to see what is going on in Los Angeles, and on this occasion, we couldn't resist taking in a performance of A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder, which is currently playing at the Ahmanson Theatre downtown. The 2013 show won Tonys for Best Musical and Best Book of a Musical after its initial Broadway run and is now currently on its first national tour.

Ryder Smith in the cast of its upcoming production of OSLO, a new play by J.T. Rogers, directed by Bartlett Sher.

We've got some headline news this evening! 'Front page' news, even. According to the Chicago Tribune, Broadway veteran Nathan Lane and MAD MEN star John Slattery have signed on to lead a new Broadway revival of Ben Hecht and Charles MacArthur's play THE FRONT PAGE this fall.

With direction by Tony Award winner Walter Bobbie and choreography by Josh Rhodes, Bright Starbegan performances on Thursday, February 25th, 2016 at the Cort Theatre (138 West 48th Street), and opened just last night, March 24th, 2016. A GENTLEMAN'S GUIDE TO LOVE AND MURDER, the 2014 Tony Award-winning Best Musical played its final performance on the Great White Way last night, Sunday, January 17, 2016. In honor of the production's acclaimed run, the cast of the 'GGLAM' tour took it upon themselves to send the D'Ysquith of Broadway off with a tribute of TITANIC proportions. Check it out below!
