The Drama League has announced the roster of special guest performers for the 31ST Annual Musical Celebration of Broadway honoring the legendary Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony Award (EGOT) winner James Earl Jones to be held on Monday evening, February 2, 2015 at the famed Pierre Hotel (2 East 61st Street).

The January 2015 edition of CUNY TV's ARTS IN THE CITY, hosted by Magalie Laguerre-Wilkinson in the newly reopened Cooper Hewitt Smithsonian Design Museum in Manhattan, begins Friday, Jan. 9 (2015) at 10am, 3pm and 8:30pm on CUNY TV*.

The reigning Tony Award-winning Best Musical, A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder, will welcome a new Monty Navarro when Tony Award nominee Bryce Pinkham takes a temporary leave of absence to co-star in the limited Broadway enagement of The Heidi Chronicles. Assuming the role of Monty beginning on Tuesday, January 20 will be original ensemble member and Monty understudy Jeff Kready, whose other Broadway credits include Billy Elliot: The Musical and the revivals of Sunday in the Park with George and Les Miserables.

Nominations for the 57th GRAMMY AWARDS were announced today, December 5th. The music industry's premier event will take place live on Sunday, Feb, 8, 2015, at STAPLES Center in Los Angeles

Andrea 'Spook' Testani, a well-known stage manager and member of the Broadway community, has died, a source has confirmed to BroadwayWorld. Testani was recently diagnosed with Stage 3 colon cancer.
