The past month represented the strongest May grosses in Broadway history, with each week being well over the $40 million mark for the second month in a row. These grosses were high enough to make the 2024-2025 Broadway season the highest grossing season in history, beating the 2018-2019 season.

Call Me Izzy is now on Broadway! Written by Jamie Wax and directed by Sarna Lapine, Call Me Izzy, starring Jean Smart, is a darkly comedic story about one woman in rural Louisiana who has a secret that is both her greatest gift and her only way out.

Two-time Tony Award nominee, Johanna Day has joined the upcoming Broadway production of Call Me Izzy,  production as Standby for starring six-time Emmy Award-winning and Tony Award-nominated actress Jean Smart

Oscar and Grammy Award winning composer, producer, and songwriter, T Bone Burnett, will be the Music Composer for the world premiere of Call Me Izzy on Broadway. Learn more about the production here!

When the Tony nominations were announced this morning St. Louisian Jack Lane was nominated for the eighth time for producing shows on Broadway. This season he is part of the producing team for the smash hit Sunset Blvd that is currently wowing audiences at the St. James Theatre on Broadway. 

Apple TV+ has shared a sneak peek clip from the upcoming eighth episode of the star-studded comedy, “The Studio.' In the episode, Matt tries to get Zoë Kravitz to thank him in her award acceptance speech. Watch the clip!

Call Me Izzy will hold a Box Office Opening event on Monday, May 5 at 10AM! A special ticket price of $25 will be offered for the first 100 tickets purchased in-person at the Studio 54 box office

NBC will celebrate comedy legend Joan Rivers with Joan Rivers: A Dead Funny All-Star Tribute on Tuesday, May 13. The comedy special will feature today’s biggest comedians as they pay homage to Rivers’ razor-sharp humor and impact on pop culture.
