 UCLA’s Center for the Art of Performance (CAP UCLA) opens its 2023-2024 season with a weekend of virtuosic stars and genre-blending collaborations including celebrated jazz legends Dee Dee Bridgewater and Bill Charlap at Royce Hall, followed by the inaugural performance at the new UCLA Nimoy Theater (The Nimoy) headlined by Grammy-winning spoken word artist J. Ivy.

DABOYWAY—the Thai-American hip-hop pioneer, co-founder of the chart-topping #1 group Thaitanium and actor—has announced a run of headlining shows across the U.S. later this month as part of his “Ways World Tour.” The tour will take place from August 16, launching in Fort Lauderdale, FL, until August 27 ending in New York City.

Halle Bailey has released her debut solo single, 'Angel.' Earlier this year, Bailey received rave reviews for her performance as Ariel in Disney's live-action reimagining of The Little Mermaid. ALAN CUMMING IS NOT ACTING HIS AGE, a one-man show presented by Alan Cumming, will play at London’s Theatre Royal Drury Lane, Manchester’s Bridgewater Hall and Glasgow’s SEC Armadillo in January 2024.

On Wednesday, July 26, 12 contestants from across Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, Bronx, Staten Island, and New Jersey will take the famed Amateur Night at the Apollo stage to compete for bragging rights, and a chance to win $20,000.
