Tony Award winning Laura Benanti, will make her London debut on Tuesday 2 September at Underbelly Boulevard Soho transferring direct from a sold-out run at Edinburgh Fringe Festival with her one-woman comedy show Laura Benanti: Nobody Cares. Legendary Broadway casting director, Jay Binder, passed away Friday, April 15, 2022 at the age of 71. Binder died peacefully at home.

At the end of April, The Cabaret Project of St. Louis is presenting Laura Benanti at The Sheldon for her first solo performance in St. Louis. Ms. Benanti is a Tony Award Winner and five time nominee. Ahead of the event, BroadwayWorld sat down with the celebrated star of Stage and Screen.

Casting Society of America (CSA) today announced the television and theatre nominees for the 35th Artios Awards, which honor the contribution of Casting Directors to film, television and theatre. The winners will be revealed on Thursday, January 30, 2020 in ceremonies in Los Angeles, New York City and London. The producers of IRVING BERLIN'S WHITE CHRISTMAS, the stage adaptation of the beloved classic film, have announced the route for the 2019 holiday season. Bay Street Theater is pleased to announce THE PROMPTER, the first production of the 2019 Mainstage Season, had a successful opening night on June 1. The show runs through June 16. Theatre by the Sea presents the world premiere of Love and Other Fables

In celebration of 86 Years of Theatre By The Sea, owner and producer Bill Hanney is proud to announce the opening of the 2019 Summer Season. The season begins with the World Premiere of a brand new romantic screwball musical comedy, Love and Other Fables, which will be presented from May 29 - June 16, 2019.

Bay Street Theater is pleased to announce the cast and creative team for the first show of the 2019 Mainstage Season. The World Premiere of THE PROMPTER (May 28- June 16) a new comedy by Wade Dooley; will be directed by Scott Schwartz, Bay Street Theater's Artistic Director.

Chick Flick the Musical, the new musical comedy with book, music and lyrics by Suzy Conn and directed by David Ruttura will close at The Westside Theatre on Sunday, March 16, 2019. At the time of closing, the show will have played 11 previews and 12 performances.
