The Amas Musical Theatre Lab prsents its first new musical of its 49th Season, I'LL TAKE IT, with book and lyrics by Eli Pasic and music by Henry Krieger.

On Saturday, May 13, 2017, following the 2 p.m. matinee performance of Fiasco Theater's "Into the Woods" at the Ahmanson Theatre, Center Theatre Group will throw a cast party for all the Bakers and Witches, Cinderellas and Princes, Milky Whites, et al., who have ever appeared in a production of "Into the Woods."

Casting is announced today for the acclaimed Fiasco Theater production of INTO THE WOODS.

Presented by The New York Musical Festival, Jorge de la Garza and German Cavazos, CHILDREN OF SALT is the first Official Selection of the New York Musical Festival from Mexico, CHILDREN OF SALT by Jaime Lozano and Lauren Epsenhart. The musical is directed by Jose Zayas, musical direction by Geraldine Anello with choreography Stephanie Klemons (Associate Choreographer: Hamilton). Award-winning non-for-profit Broadway Sings for Pride (www.BroadwaySingsForPride.com) held their 6th annual PRIDE benefit concert on Monday, June 20, 2016. To start the night, Daniel Quadrino, from Broadway's Wicked and Newsies, sang 'Imagine' to reflect on the tragedy that happened in Orlando. He was joined onstage by members of the New York community, to echo the sentiment that New York stands behind Orlando and that art can be used to inspire and change minds. On Monday, June 20, 2016, non for profit BROADWAY SINGS FOR PRIDE will premiere their 6th anniversary benefit concert in New York City at the JCC Manhattan! This milestone event will be filled with singing (from pop to Broadway), stories, special celebrity guests and more! The show will honor the Tyler Clementi Foundation and AIDS pioneer and activist Ruth Coker Burks.  Broadway Sings for Pride, is a multiple award-wining is a non-for-profit organization that brings together Broadway talent, activists and celebrities to educate the public, raise awareness of the needs of LGBTQ youth, and support these young people so that they may reach their full potential.

(Un)Lucky In Love, a heroic romantic musical comedy by award-winning writers Crystal Skillman & Bobby Cronin, will receive a developmental reading this week with a starry cast led by Ali Stroker (Spring Awakening, 'Glee') in a role that would be a first in Broadway musical theatre history -- a lead character who is disabled played by a disabled actor.

Earlier this week, the company of the 2014 revival of SIDE SHOW reunited at the The LGBT Community Center for a special CD release event. The cast, including Erin Davie, Emily Padgett, Matthew Hydzik, Javier Ignacio, Isaiah Johnson and Brandon Andrus, performed numbers from the show and then participated in a Q&A Panel.
