For their concert at Concerts@Kent Town, 2pm 20 September, instrumentalists and vocal students from the award winning Marryatville HS Music Centre will perform a far ranging program of works varying from Beethoven to jazz, showing their versatility, diversity and talent.

The popular community concerts at Wesley Church Kent Town continue to go from strength to strength.

"The Bridges of Madison County" captured the nation's attention in 1992 as a best-selling novel, then again in 1995 as a major motion picture.  It is a compelling, two-time Tony Award-winning musical now on stage at Peninsula Players through August 13.  "The Bridges of Madison County" is the touching story of Francesca, a lovely Italian woman who married an American soldier to flee war-ravaged Italy. She is looking forward to a rare four days alone on her Iowa farm as her family heads to the 1965 Indiana State Fair when ruggedly handsome, National Geographic photographer Robert Kincaid pulls into her driveway seeking directions. What happens in those next four days may very well alter the course of Francesca's life.

Now in its tenth year the popular community Concerts at Kent Town continues to go from strength to strength as it opens the doors of the historic Wesley Church, Kent Town for another season of welcoming monthly Wednesday afternoon concerts. And, yes admission price is still $10 which includes a generous afternoon tea.

The holiday season is not complete without the perfect music to accompany it. 'Broadway's Carols for a Cure' is the latest compilation album that embodies the spirit of the season like nothing else can. A project born completely out of love, 'Broadway's Carols for a Cure' pairs the casts from famous Broadway musicals with songs that are both classic and new. The result is pure gold that will make you reach for the 'repeat' button over and over again.

For the final concert in this popular community concert season lovers of Mozart's music will be especially well served with three members of the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra together with pianist Damien Mansfield performing Mozart's 1st Piano Quartet.

On 17 August the Concert at Kent Town 2016  series presents two musicians who play very different instruments. Hannah Lewis, Flautist, performs a program of lilting, wafting, silvery sounds that reminds us that Spring isn't far away. University of Adelaide Associate Professor Gregory Crawford, Senior Consultant in Palliative Medicine and Director of Research and Education, reveals his other passion - playing pipe organ music.

This was a very well crafted performance of two relatively familiar works by JS Bach and Mozart.

Kegelstatt Ensemble is delighted to announce its main independent concert presentation for 2014, and to return to the beautiful warm acoustic of Pilgrim Church for this occasion. The ensemble is particularly excited to welcome back London pianist Coady Green (who grew up in Adelaide) and to be able to present a work for two pianos, and another for piano four hands, in this very dramatic and absorbing program. A fitting end to their Adelaide season.

Punk cabaret star, Amanda Palmer, formerly one half of the duo, The Dresden Dolls, performed in Adelaide for one night only, with two great support acts.

Utah Opera will give local elementary school students a chance to take the spotlight to perform original operas in a professional theatre. The twelfth annual Children's Opera Showcase will take place Wednesday, March 21 at 6:30 PM in the Jeanne Wagner Theatre located in the Rose Wagner Performing Arts Center (138 West 300 South).
