Reaching into its archival treasure trove of rarely seen recordings of past events, The American Dance Guild continues their virtual offering 10 Years Over 10 Weeks, a rich collection of video performances of honorees and guest artists over the last ten years of ADG Performance Festivals.

In celebration of its 25th season DANCE NOW is presenting a series of online events featuring new and archival digital works by more than 40 innovative dance makers. All events are available on DANCE NOW's new web platform, dancenow.online.

NEXT WEEK, October 19-25, the 2020 ADG Virtual Festival will stream Week 2, a special tribute to choreographers PAUL SANASARDO, JANE DUDLEY AND LINDA TARNAY, honorees at American Dance Guild Festival 2011. Video footage each week will be live from 10am Monday to 11:59pm Sunday ET.

Welcome to the DANCE NOW Story: An alternative, virtual space celebrating our 25th Anniversary Season. Recreating the intimate, robust and energizing atmosphere of Joe’s Pub at The Public, this online experience will unite artists and audiences through up close and personal performances & digital events.

Two prolific, award winning artists, Carl Hancock Rux and Mallory Catlett, both former artists in Mabou Mines' Resident Artist Program, embody the company's mission to foster the next generation of experimental theater artists and bring with them a strong vision for the future of Mabou Mines.

The DANCE NOW Story will be told in six monthly chapters starting September 10, 2020 through May 2021.

DANCE NOW will celebrate its 25th anniversary with the DANCE NOW STORY-a reimagined festival composed of a series of online events featuring more than 40 artists. Traditionally held each year immediately after Labor Day, the DANCE NOW Festival is known as the kick-off to the dance season in New York City.

New Victory Dance, New Victory Theater's annual summer dance series, will return in a free, online format, inspiring kids and families to engage with New York City dance.

In response to the current pandemic, the OBIE-winning HERE has announced additional free online programming designed to uplift audiences during these challenging times.

For 7 days, Katie Workum Dance will present Anna, Darrin, David, Eleanor, jess, Katie, Leslie & Weena: The Door's Unlocked, an immersive, multi-platformed, week-long event with daily rotating performances, hybrid viewing-doing sessions, and other activated public engagements housed in Foley Gallery at 59 Orchard Street in New York, NY. The dances, the dancers, the actions, the contents of their work will shift day and night, and they invite you inside to warm up and unfold with them.

Theodora Skipitares has achieved renown for her large-scale puppetry epics on such topics as physics, genetics and medicine. An early American giant of science is the subject of her latest multi-media spectacle, 'The Transfiguration of Benjamin Banneker.' It celebrates the life of the free black man who, living in Maryland from 1731 to 1806, became one of his era's most outstanding engineers and astronomers. La MaMa will present the world premiere of the piece January 23 to February 2 in its Ellen Stewart Theatre, at 66 East Fourth Street.

Choreographer Gabrielle Revlock presents two works, SEX TAPE and Nuptial Blitz, January 8-12, 2020 (7pm Wed-Sat, 3pm Sun) at The Flea, a staple of New York City's downtown performing arts scene located at 20 Thomas Street in Tribeca. On Tuesday, November 19, LUMBERYARD Center for Film and Performing Arts partnered with Bill T. Jones/New York Live Arts to host an event at the Park Avenue Armory addressing a growing structural challenge facing the city's performing arts presenting field: the need for technical-rehearsal residencies for NYC-based artists to develop new work. The event included a panel conversation moderated by Joe Melillo, Executive Producer Emeritus of the Brooklyn Academy of Music, and featuring five acclaimed New York City-based performing artists:
