Birdland will kick-off their exciting month of programming with the following acts:

See 'Multiple Family Dwelling' while it is being performed at New Jersey Repertory Company. Written by James Hindman, directed by Alan Souza, and featuring a stellar cast, this is an intriguing play about two couples and the twists and turns of their relationships.

The World Premiere of Multiple Family Dwelling will be produced by New Jersey Repertory Company (NJ Rep) from March 9th to April 9th. Written by James Hindman, and directed by Alan Souza, it stars Dana Brooke, Dustin Charles, Maria Couch and Jared Michael Delaney.

It's the summer of 1964, and four inseparable friends form a girl group called The Bikinis, win a talent contest, and make it to the top! Now, many years and a few pounds later The Bikinis reunite for a show filled with sun and fun and all the great songs they sang on the boardwalk at the Jersey Shore.  Join them as they relive their heyday and put on a show that promises to get everyone dancing in the aisles!

Midtown Direct Rep (MDR) continues its 2016-17 staged reading series, Theater at The Woodland, with a presentation of TORN ASUNDER, written by Obie Award-winner Nikkole Salter and directed by Janeece Freeman Clark. This staged reading will be performed for one night only on Sunday, December 11, 2016 at 7pm at The Woodland (60 Woodland Rd. Maplewood, NJ), where MDR is the resident theater company. The reading is $15 (advance purchase), $20 (if purchased at the door) and open to the public. Student/Senior discounts are also available. Drama Desk and OBIE-winning Transport Group has announced that Tyne Daly (Master Class, Mothers and Sons, It Shoulda Been You, Rabbit Hole), Jason Danieley (The Visit, Chicago), Hannah Elless (Bright Star, Godspell), and Marc Kudisch (Hand to God, Finding Neverland) will join Richard Thomas ('The Americans,' You Can't Take it With You) in its concert of A Man of No Importance, which takes places Monday, December 5 at 8pm at the Irene Diamond Stage at the Pershing Square Signature Center, 480 West 42nd Street.

Steele Spring Stage Rights, the licensing company that represents "The Marvelous Wonderettes," has begun a new partnership with Miracle or 2 Theatrical Licensing. As part of the deal, Miracle or 2 will include the popular Stage Rights titles "Dinner With the Boys," "Route 66," "Running Mates," and "Real Housewives: The Musical" as part of their catalog, with Stage Rights remaining the publisher of record and Miracle or 2 servicing the account as sub-publisher. Additionally, Stage Rights will act as sub-publisher for the Miracle or 2 titles "The Bikinis," "Are We There Yet?" and "The Rat Pack Lounge."

Midtown Direct Rep (MDR) kicks off its 2016-17 newly renamed staged reading series, Theater at The Woodland, with a presentation of THE BURDENS, written by Matt Schatz and directed by Mark Armstrong.

Midtown Direct Rep (MDR) is excited to announce a new partnership with the Township of Maplewood. Beginning with the 2016-17 season, MDR will present its staged readings and other productions as the resident theater company of The Woodland (60 Woodland Rd. in Maplewood, NJ). MDR's newly named staged reading series, "Theater at The Woodland", will take place in the Parlor, and larger productions, such as the well-known annual event Listen To Your Mother, will be held in the Great Hall.
