The new Off-Broadway comedy Popcorn Falls opened just last night, October 8, at the Davenport Theatre (354 W 45th Street). The production, written by James Hindman, is directed by two-time Tony Award winner Christian Borle, in his New York directorial debut. Popcorn Falls stars Adam Heller and Tom Souhrada, playing over twenty roles in under ninety minutes.

The show's Director and two-time Tony Award winner, Christian Borle is at our very own Snug Theatre helping the acting team fine tune the production for its New York debut. Borle, known for his portrayal of Black Stache in Peter and the Starcatcher, Shakespeare in Something Rotten!, and most recently Willy Wonka in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, also had a starring role in the NBC hit Smash. James, also the playwright of the production, is a native of Michigan and is excited to have an opportunity to bring the work he loves back to his home state.
